The owner is a very nice gentleman and we had a good time to chat with him. We bought head nets and bug wipes from him which turned out extremely helpful when we stayed in McCarthy. As other reviewers' said, he is blind. If you have chance to stop by and want to support him, there is small gift shop and some anti-bugs products in his store.

Great store with a good selection of foods available. Not exactly a grocery store but a solid convenience store for sure. Beware, a lot of food is EXPIRED.

The owner of the grizzly country store is a very nice guy but he's also blind and I don't think he is able to tell if items have expired.
