This Hammer & Lewis store is conveniently located in the neighborhood and in heart of the SJ...

Renee is very good at what she does for the establishment. She cares for her customers and goes above and beyond for all those who come into the store. She calls her counterpart at the other Hammer & Lewis in Downtown SJ to find and secure items that may not be available at this location and reserves and has them sent to this location for the customers. She then follows up the next day by calling the customers to pick up the items. If the desired merchandise is not available at either store she will special/custom order online with her establishment affiliates overseas and get them delivered to this location at a designated date. She is wonderful and a pleasure to do business with. 5 STARS for Renee and this Hammer & Lewis location! 👍🏽

Have not been to hammer and Lewis in many years but I so remember Irving &his wife...
This couple is one sharp dressed n loving couple....ooo how I remember when I would Stop & Shop back in the 80s! I sure do need to stop by and greet Mr. Irving..... very hospitable, kind, knowledgeable, great customer service and overall just a caring, sharp local business owner that's know his stuff!

Went in to buy an outfit for my company holiday party and was greeted by Irving. He provided what I call world class customer service. This unfortunately is a lost service by so many. He listened to my needs and provided suggestions, very helpful and knowlegable. I left very happy to have purchased from them and will continue to go back.

Have been here several times on Sunday and you're closed! You should change the hours on your website if you're not open Sundays! I drive almost 30 minutes to come here!
