Great produce and meat at great prices.
There is also a self-serve station and a to-go lunch counter and an even better separate dessert counter.

The produce looked better and cheaper than any regular supermarket in the area.

The establishment boasts exceptional customer service and collaborative teamwork.
Today, March 5, 2025, at 9:25 PM, I experienced a brief inconvenience. While rushing to purchase white bread, I inadvertently used Apple Pay without realizing I had insufficient funds. Consequently, I left my wallet at work.
Despite the urgency, I was able to verify my card through my bank account within a few minutes via the Apple Wallet. The cashier, who I had forgotten to introduce myself to, demonstrated remarkable assistance by covering the cost of the bread.

Excellent selections of Middle Eastern food products and freshly prepared dishes and condiments. Every time I go there I feel like I am in Disney land.

There is only one remark I must make, the employees at this market all seem quite unhappy, or at least quite humorless. I sure hope they are not being mistreated but the store owner...I have a strong hunch that they are. I have no way I can confirm (or deny) my suspicion, but maybe someone reading this can I sure hope so, because other than the depressing customer service, this place is great.

A great alternative to Mexican food. Many tasty options. Beef, Chicken Kebabs, plates platters hummus, any different types of salads all offered at a reasonable price.

Excellent Middle Eastern market with delicious hot and cold entrees and sides. They have very good bargains on fresh fruit. This store is smaller and has less of a selection in cans and jars than the Balboa location. The fresh fruit seems to be of a better quality here. There is also a greater selection of hot entrees. We hope that since the Balboa store has now closed due to Covid-19, the large excellent baklava selection that was available there will be soon available here. Update: Got the Meal for 4 special of 4 beef kabobs, 4 chicken kabobs, 3 chicken tikka, 4 falafel, 1/2 beef & 1/2 chicken shawarma, rice, bread, and 8oz. pickled veggies. Everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty. However, the beef shawarma was a little dry. Update: Got the meal for 3 special of 3 beef kabobs, 3 chicken kabobs, beef and chicken shawarma, rice, and pickled turnips. Everything was excellent! Prices have increased, but quality remains excellent.

The grocery shopping is great, they have many fresh and seasonal options. also the halal meat.. however other staff is over priced compared to other stores.

Check expiration date .. sometimes they put expired items on shelves.

High quality food and low prices. I loved the Lahmacun (ground meat pizza) and the hot iraqi Sammoon.. The Dolma is the best (better than my mom’s by far lol).. highly recommended to anyone visiting San Diego
