The store was delightful! The dogs kept me company. The owner & her husband were so helpful. They had a nice selection of fabric & notions.

Took my Brother Innovis 1500D sewing machine in for service. The main problem was with the embroidery part. The machine wasn’t sewing evenly and my thread kept breaking. This older gentleman who took my machine was very nice and in about 45 minutes said he cleaned and fixed my machine. He said if it sewed ok without the attachment.. then it should sew with it. He told me when I got home to use it, if there was any problems at all to call and he’d take care of it. A couple of weeks later I got the machine out and tried to use it. I almost didn’t recognize what was happening….. over the last 13 years I had set up my machine to work with me. I had set up my preferences. I also had several embroidery projects saved to my pockets. Not one of these functions that I was use to using worked. And, all my pockets were empty. On top of all this.. I tried to embroider… my thread still broke and still sewed very unevenly. I called the store and he said to bring it in. I arrived early and he took my machine. First, he said it was threaded wrong. I attempted to explain that my hubby carried it in and didn’t realize he probably touched the top thread moving it. He then instructed me to leave him alone. After about a 1/2 hr he said it was functioning just fine. I showed him the stitches didn’t function as before and what about the embroidery part. He said when he cleans a machine he always sets it back to factory specifications. That’s also why my projects were gone. I told him that I get the machine cleaned almost yearly and never lost my set ups or projects. He called me argumentative and didn’t need me or my machine. What do I expect from a 20 year old machine. To take my machine to an authorized dealer next time. When I called the store he said “yes” he worked on Brother machines. He should had said he was not an authorized repair place.
In the end he refunded my original repair ticket. But I am out traveling two times (1.5 hours each way) to the store and a machine that still won’t embroider correctly.
I do not recommend you let this man touch your machine.

Wonderful experience. I was interested in learning how to embroidery sew with my machine. Pat told me when to show up for class. The time and patience Amber puts in with projects to teach us. I couldn t be more happy. I have expanded my sewing world and made new friends. Such a wonderful place. 💜

Such nice people! I brought in my 30 year old Kenmore sewing machine for repair and Al (one of the owners) took it apart and fixed it! I hung out for about 2 hours while he worked his magic and was able to bring my machine back home the same day. Good work! I would definitely recommend.

You are greeted both professionally and in a very friendly manner as soon as you enter and are treated like friends rather than simply customers. I took my machine in to be serviced and he did a wonderful job of cleaning & repairing, taking time to instruct on how to use the needle threader, staying well after closing time. I felt it was well and beyond customer service. They have definitely earned a repeat customer.

Thank you Heart-to-Heart for fixing my old Bernina. I'm so attached to this machine I've been sewing with for 50 years! I got it right back within a couple of days so I could finish my project. Such a nice couple also. I just love this shop and their cute furry little door greeters.

I took my daughter, Belize, to the shop for sewing lessons this past Saturday. The owners are very friendly. The shop is very 'homey'; you will feel welcomed the second you walk through the door. I'm taking Belize back there, as she learned quite a bit for only two hours. The shop is very inviting, and clearly the owners are well-known and loved by patrons. LOVE THIS PLACE!
