Horrible customer service. I’m surprised this place has any starts.
If you don’t look the “right way” or if English is your second language don’t bother going. The clerk, Lauren, was beyond rude. When I walked in she was helping someone else being polite and offering her as many shoes as the client needed. I waited until she finished and looked around the store. Once she was no longer busy I asked to see some shoes, to which she responded being disrespectful and with a bad attitude, for me to get it my self. She left me feeling as it if were something against me or the fact that my English isn’t great. After talking with my bilingual friend, she said that she also received the same horrible treatment.
In short, unless you want to be made feel like dirt, DON’T GO to that store.

As an 82 old woman I, at least expect a bit of courtesy and even assistance
from a store clerk. I got neither at this shoe store at Del Monte Center. Apart
from being a "senior" I could tell from the clerk that he could not have cared
less if I even made a purchase. He was disinterested in making an effort to
help me choose a pair of shoes. I left the store feeling very upset and vowed,
I would never recommend this store to any one in my family or to any
friends. If only store clerks/owners realized how much damage they create for both the customer, and the business when they fail to make
a customer feel noticed, or important. I worked a lot of years as a
Department Store clerk, and I know that each and every customer I
served, felt happy with the way I treated them. Shopping for most
people, is not that much fun to begin with, and if the store clerk does
a good job of taking care of a customer, it is a good outcome for
everyone. Life is not easy for anyone these days and a bit of concern,
and empathy for everyone is so needed especially, when one is old.
I have learned again, that America does not honor old age and that
is not like the country I grew up in. My grandmother was revered and
so were all the old people that I lived in my neighborhood.
I have said enough-

We were in there less than 5 minutes. The sales clerk was argumentive and borderline combative in her conversation after I told my mother than my doctors told me to never wear Hoka's due to their lack of true stability due to my knee issues. Her manners and her verbal choices matched her choice of clothes, unflattering. I chose to stop looking at their limited selection when she failed to know of when to keep her opinions to herself. I am usually open to conversation and different points of view but not when presented in the manner of her approach. I am certain my 3 doctors know more about my health concerns than a lady pushing expensive shoes. Luckily my mom found exactly what she wanted immediately upon walking in this mid afternoon. In, out and never going back.
