Lodging on Edwards is okay, pretty standard for Air Force Inns…the rooms are dated but clean, and spacious. No complaints about the check-in or staff. I most recently stayed in what is perhaps somewhat generously described as a DV suite, which differed from a regular room in that it had a kitchen counter and sink, in addition the standard fridge and microwave, but there were no utensils or dish soap.

Overall, not bad if you’re only staying at Edwards for a couple of days, but otherwise I’d be willing to make the ~45 min drive to Lancaster to stay in a more upscale hotel.

So this review is for the housing. Not the hotel rooms. Lets be clear on that first.

The housing is ALWAYS extremely clean and well taken care of. I've never had a single issue with them. The garage is well lit and easily usable.

The bathrooms are all clean.

The bedrooms are all fresh linens and floor is vacuumed.

Did the finger dust test on corners etc. I'd say 8 out of 10 no problem.

Would I stay here again? yes. Like I said no issues with this place at all.
They always treat me right every time I've been here. And I've been here at least 10+ times. Thanks guys!

While the rooms are dated, many of the rooms are an entire suite. The bathrooms are small. Additionally, like many other bases, heating and cooling get fed from the base, and can make for an interesting visit if the temperature is unseasonally outside the norm. Staff was great!

There is no hot water for showers. The entrance is not well lighted. I was walking to my room in the next building. I could not see the end of the curb and fell. Luckily, I had no injuries. This is not a great place to stay.

Stayed in the pet friendly rooms which are the same as temporary lodging. It was a large house with full kitchen, dining room, living room, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It also had a large backyard and mud room.

You will also be issued a garage door opener for the one car garage. The house also comes with two kennels. WiFi router is right in the unit for easy internet.

All of the standard Air Force Inn amenities are present as well (soap, shampoo, towels, etc). Overall a great place to stay, especially if you have family.

Very dated & there were multiple dead bugs in my room (and a live roach in the hall). The mattress felt as old and worn out as the decor. The sheets looked like someone had slept in them and there was a dark hair on the pillow. As expected with an old building, the footsteps and squeaky floorboards above me were quite loud. I would've preferred to spend more money and have the longer commute than stay at this Air Force Inn.

This is not a dorm room, this is supposed to lodging, stop treating it like a dorm room. If you’re going to turn off the AC, please don’t charge for the room. Take into consideration others traveling from different climates that has not fully adjusted to the California heat. I barely sleep for the 5 days I stayed here as the room was ridiculously hot. I would rather sleep in my car AC than to suffer through this again.

Room was nice apart from the really old thermostat. Got mixed feelings from employees. I work from home and often have to take calls for the college I work for and therefore I would put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on both doors to avoid housekeeping knocking/coming in. Those signs were ignored and made me wonder why they even have them. Promptly gave up on the signs. Management wasn’t so great. We just PCS’d here and are waiting for housing. Our original plan was to stay for 14 days and hopefully housing would be sorted out by then. The manager explained to us that if we needed to elongate our stay, we could let them know and they would let us sort that out. We did end up needing to make our stay longer, but they simply said they can’t. A little frustrating.
