Tidepool has a lil treasure for everyone. It’s plopped right on highway one, sunken into the rugged cliffs of one of my favorite stretches of California coastline.

There’s lots of sweet vintage finds, the kind of pieces that you covet for a lifetime: a small (but eclectic) collection of records, cool old art books, thoughtfully made jewelry, naturey smelling candles and a hodgepodge of ceramics, tshirts, and other doodads made by the owner, who is so, so kind and welcoming.

Tidepool has a made excellent use out of front yard too- oftentimes when I’ve gone there’s been a very sweet man selling African mud cloths and baskets. The shop also has a dreamy backyard where you can catch some rays (if you’re lucky). Do yourself the favor of making this a pit stop or a destination 💖

Fun and surprisingly charming store off Hwy 1. We stopped because we were looking for the old army surplus store that used to be here years ago. The sign remains out front, but it is a new store now. They don't sell any army surplus supplies. Lots of fun and charming items inside. I would call it quite unique! I bought a very fragrant cute soap.

An adorable shop filled with unique and delightful gifts. From tea, to craft chocolate, to vintage clothing, to local artists’ goods it is a must see spot for gifts along the gorgeous HW1 California coast. You can even get a cup of tea or coffee.

Run by friendly locals. Do not miss it on your way down the coastside to Half Moon Bay.

Also, safe little fenced-in backyard if you need to let the little monsters run around for a few minutes to give yourself some peace from the traffic

This store is a treasure! Filled to the brim with local knick knacks and groovy gifts. Every time I did a lap around the store I found something else I loved. From hand made baskets, to fun hats, glasses and jewelry, there is something for everyone! Certainly worth your time for a visit!

Went in for a gift for my niece and was impressed with the wide variety of unique and beautiful items - the owner makes all the tie dye t shirts, plus there's lots of fun jewelry and home decor. Owner and staff were really nice and helpful picking out a gift, and my niece loved her t shirt.
