I went in today looking for an elopement dress. And the sales associates were all very kind, helpful and patient while I tried on a few dresses. Cinching me in corsets and also helping me get out of them. I did find THEE dress and I’m so grateful for their team that was so helpful and made it a very comfortable experience. I would definitely shop here again. And all of the dresses are great quality. I absolutely loved the one I picked today.

The dress has quality issue. Instead of refunding me the full amount or give me an exchange, they gave me a promo code for just the dress value on sales, I’m losing $100+ on shipping cost I incur (which they promise to refund but didn’t), tax, and the Black Friday sales. Customer service refuse to accommodate.

Do not get the Tatiana dress. The buttons fall off after one wear.

On Saturday, May 4th I was with my friend helping her find a dress for my Birthday Dinner. We went to one shop after another and couldn't find one dress that screamed Birthday Vibes!!!! After going to several shops we were so shocked to discover the House of CB. The line was long and we were hesitant to get in because we were pressed for time. We got in line, praying and hoping that it would move quickly so we could make it back in time for dinner. After 10 minutes of standing, we finally got in and the warm welcome we received was so refreshing especially, with how packed it was. There were girls looking for prom dresses. Women who just wanted to see what the buzz was about and then there were us two pretty girls looking for a birthday dress. The music was at the right level. The stylist was on the floor, helping their clients. The store was fully stocked with inventory and very clean. Most importantly the staff that helped me and my friend were amazing and patient. They gave us their honest opinions, recommended the newest items, and they were well-dressed. Being in the store for about 45 minutes we were able to find three outfits and build friendships with the team. Yes, I highly recommend The House Of CD in LA and when you go make sure you ask for Dylan, Jazz, Courtney, Jade, and Jocelyn. They went above and beyond to make us feel special. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The merchandise they showed us was quality and exceeded my expectations in what I've seen online. The ambiance there was inviting and comfortable. This will be my go-to place when I'm back in LA. The team is not only friendly but also highly skilled, especially dealing with that amount of foot traffic during a busy season. That day marked eight still fresh months since I lost my husband and I was feeling drained all day. I wanted him with me and I was about to celebrate a birthday after 10 years without him, but the team at CD made me feel loved and I appreciate that with all of me because when you walk into an establishment, they don't know what is going on personally with you. They just know that they have to impress you with their service and that's exactly what Dylan, Jazz, Courtney, Jade, and Jocelyn did. Thank you so much for reminding me great people do exist. 1 star because the dresses are beautiful but if it wasn't for that it'd be a zero for the Melrose location. Tonight 3/2/25 was the second time I've driven almost an hour to this store only to have the staff tell me that they've closed earlier than what is listed on Google. Manager, a guy named Courtney and staff on duty (all rude) said google was wrong and I could no longer shop. Seems like they just wanted to close up early and go home. Such horrible customer service! Never shopping this brand again.

Don’t get me wrong I love house of cb and their dresses however you can’t buy them without trying on.. which is fine but the fitting room experience isn’t the best they help with zipping up and all but I don’t need to put the clothing back on the hangers as a CLIENT! i understand that I need to take out the clothes I don’t want but putting clothes back on hangers isn’t something clients need to be doing at a luxury dress store and every time I try something on there the employees are very sharp on “please put the clothing back on the hangers”

Reading the reviews before an in store return, i was worried id have to defend myself against rude employees but everyone in there was super sweet and helpful. Looks like a lot of holiday staff in training. Everyone was kind, smiling, approachable, and warm with their tone and communication. Thats good customer service. Thanks for the experience.
