Huge props go out to Hyundai of El Cajon!
Jordan was one of the 1st members of sales team we met. Wonderful guy, gave us the 1st test drive in the SUV we bought.
Ryan was our sales team member who helped us throughout the process. Showed us our vehicle, gave us another chance for an extended test drive and went over many of the vehicles options. He facilitated the numbers along with Brendan, one of the managers to make the whole financing portion a breeze. Communication was never ending with Ryan.
Brendon and Ryan really made the shopping process a breeze and we felt welcomed and never rushed or pressured one bit. A special shout to Darius in Financing. He explained every single piece of paper, helped us make it through that portion with any questions asked, answered immediately and with enthusiasm. Lindsey in customer service really helped me out too. Had a few situations that she facilitated and took care of and made things happen.
Because of the easy going and overall great experience we had with these fine people and the whole dealership, we would definitely go back there to get our next vehicle as well.

The new location is beautiful and the lounge is comfortable with popcorn, coffees, water, and plenty of charging outlets. I had a particularly traumatic week and had a slight melt down at the service center. I was treated with grace, kindness, and patience. I was told to just take it easy and I was walked through everything. Every courtesy was given to me, even a small discount they did not have to do just because I had such a bad time. I can’t believe sitting at the service dealership was the highlight of my week. Thank you for your kindness.

I recently had an excellent experience at Hyundai of El Cajon that I felt compelled to share. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. My service was completed much sooner than I had anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise. The service department impressed me with their attentiveness; every team member made sure I was being helped promptly. I was able to get a same-day appointment for an oil change online, but I was running late because they moved to a new location since I last visited. Juan assisted me and it was by far the best customer service I've ever received at a Hyundai dealership since I purchased my car. I had to pick up my boys from school at 2pm, across town in the south bay. I arrived at 11:40am. Juan and his team had me out by 12:30. Huge thanks, and I'll only be going there in the future.

Customer service agent Karola Altamirano, was so rude talking to me and my daughter when tried to get explanation why the car wasn’t ready for pick up even though she told us it will be ready in 4 hours.
When we asked her why she wasn’t returning our call, she almost yelled at us and said “Do you think you are the only customer I have , I have a lot of work on my plate and I have no time for that”.
WOW, what a great company representative she was.
On the other hand , and regarding the technical service , it took 3 visits on several months for the to figure out that my car had a bad sensor that needed to be replaced. This location doesn’t provide loaner cars and they don’t even have shuttle services.

Last night we went car shopping for my younger sister who is a single mom and on a strict budget. She had in mind a Tuscon or SantaFe size car, Rav4, Sportage, you get the idea. But Hyundai offers the best warranty and the gas milage was comparable. Trunk space for tent camping with her 1 child was important and getting some money for her 200K+ milage used, USED, PriusC as she really didn't have any downpayment money.

To start, the sales rep Mansour was AWESOME!
Personable, took time to listen to all three (me-brother, sister-buyer, and our mother) of our concerns and comments. Worked to really make sure my sister understood, was patient with the same questions over and over, and taking time to find the right car over and over again. Thank you Manny!

Then comes the negotiations. Went as usual in the start, sales pitch, lets focus here, not here. But then the back team really stepped up, came out to speak with us, listened to all the details and information. My sisters worries and concerns, her budget restrictions, my non-negotiables. Then went away for 5 mins. They came back and offered support. My sister got warranties to cover her fears as a single mom, a payment within her monthly budget that she feels comfortable with, and a deal of a car.

The team took time to listen and find a solution!
As a family we are so grateful this morning for last nights team at Hyundai of El Cajon and can't thank you more for a great experience!

Used the online appointment to schedule same day oil change on Saturday then called a bit later to confirm it in fact was in their system so that was great. Dropped our 2024 Santa Fe Limited off at the scheduled time. Nevin was our service adviser and he was great at sharing the timing of our appointment timeline and some other questions we asked about. Overall a great experience for all involved.
