I went to this store a long time ago with my daughter for the first time. The people treated us like we were thieves and followed us around. Then acted like they didn’t do anything wrong. I won’t ever step foot into an establishment that treats their customers, especially a mother and young daughter that way.

I stopped here on a whim on a late Friday afternoon and had a lovely experience. I was offered a hot tea which was brought to me by a sweet young man, and found incredible scented candles, high quality soaps and lotions, pretty jewelry, and lots of other nicely curated items. They were quite busy when I was there, and the owners (not to mention the other customers) were all kind. The place had a nice vibe. Would definitely go back.

This is a great store for finding unique and interesting international gifts at the last minute, right here in Oakdale. They have nice clothes, decorations, food items, glassware and more. They’ve also gift wrapped anything I’ve bought way nicer than I could do by myself.

I went in to the store while I waited for my daughter who was meeting me for lunch in Oakdale. I began browsing through and both of the woman glared over at me as I walked and looked. I did pick up a book for my granddaughter, I did feel very uncomfortable because both woman asked if I needed help. I told them from the beginning that I was going to look around so don’t know why they felt the need to be pushy.
I gave one of the woman the book and told her I would pay for it after I finished browsing.
What came next was a total surprise. I handed the woman &40 cash to pay for the book my total was $20 plus a few cents. The woman asked if I had the exact change so she didn’t have to break a second $20 bill. She says I’ll give you back your $20
Next she acted as if she has already given it to me. She insisted she had. I wanted to empty my entire leather bag to prove to her that I did not have it.
Long story short she finally gave me the 20 back. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and will not be retiring this snobby shop. I feel because I’m unique and different some will have pre conceived notions about who I am.

I will NEVER shop at your store again. Just before Christmas my sister, elderly mother and myself went to your store because my mom wanted to buy my sister and I our Christmas gifts. From the moment we walked in we were stalked by sales persons. We were warned not to touch certain things. We were pestered incessantly and followed as if we were shoplifters. I also noticed that one poor older sales lady was constantly signaled to keep an eye on us. At one point my sister politely asked to be left alone to browse. Her request was not honored. Unfortunately my mother insisted we pick out some things which we did. The bill was over $300.00. I see on YELP that this is common practice in your shop. How you maintain customers is a mystery to me.
