We had such a positive experience with Independent RV, if I could give them 10 stars , I would. From our initial phone conversation until we picked up our 5th wheel following the repairs, we could not have been more satisfied. The communication and service was excellent. Indeed, they beat their own timeline. Bobby and his associates were personable and did exactly what they said they would do. I would not hesitate to take our RV back to them for any other issues, nor hesitate to refer them to friends. I wish them continued success.

Joanna and Bobby are amazing. We had some damage done to our rig at Levi’s Stadium. They had already done some warranty work previously to our rig (Notorious Keystone Fiberglass wall crack). We went right back to Independent RV and all was repaired within a few weeks. We won’t take our rig anywhere else now. They are professional, kind, and communicate throughout the process. I was asked to leave a review regarding my recent experience.

On Monday, January 27th, I spoke with Bobby about a broken spin-welded fitting on my freshwater tank. Although I didn't have my trailer with me, I provided pictures for reference. Bobby mentioned that they could likely repair it as long as the tank itself wasn’t cracked. I informed him that I needed the trailer ready for a trip that Friday and that I also had work to do on it before then. I specifically asked if I could schedule the repair for a day when they had time to complete it. Bobby informed me that their plumbing technician wasn’t available that day but advised me to bring the trailer in first thing Tuesday morning.

By 4:30 PM on Tuesday, I called to check on the status, as they close at 5 PM, and was told that no one had even looked at it. This resulted in an entire wasted day where no work was done on their end, and I was unable to complete the work I needed to do.

On Wednesday at 10 AM, I received a text stating that they had decided not to attempt the repair, as they felt the tank was too old. Instead, they planned to quote me for a replacement tank. Knowing that a new tank couldn’t be sourced and installed the same day, I opted to handle the situation myself. Since I specialize in food-grade stainless steel fabrication, I chose to fabricate a new tank in stainless steel that same day.

When I arrived to pick up my trailer, I was handed a $209 bill for a "repair estimate." I haven't reviewed the paperwork yet, but from my perspective, all they did was take a brief look at the tank, which took no more than 30 seconds—after already delaying the inspection by a full day. This level of service was disappointing.

While Bobby seemed like a nice person, and it wasn’t him who presented the bill, Independent RV has lost me as a customer. Charging $209 for what I’d generously estimate as 15 minutes of total time spent is an unreasonable amount. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend their services based on this experience.

I love everything about this place. They have a huge selection, Jessie was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Stacy was super helpful throughout the whole process. I'm happy I bought my toy hauler through them.

Just bought a used travel trailer from Stacy at Independent RV. She and the hold gang ( Jason, Sam and the whole service team) were spot on in helping us upgrade a few things while we were waiting for our requested 200 watt solar package to arrive and install while they had the trailer. We are from Northern Nevada and they did most of the service work and purchasing paperwork over the phone after our initial visit a week ago. Today, when we showed up to pick up our trailer, the service guys were there to show us about the solar and upgraded batteries and were more than happy to answer every question we had about this used trailer. Stacy was on top of everything we needed and made sure we felt like we got more than we paid for. We feel like they went above and beyond as they are winterizing the trailer tonight so we can pull it back home tomorrow to our 15 degrees nights and not worry about it freezing up when we park it. Very friendly and striving to make customers happy with their professional sales and service team.
