Last night I was pulled over by an officer that shut off his headlights as he sped up to my car then suddenly turned them on and proceeded to follow me for 3 blocks until pulling me over. After officer Bell informed me that I was pulled over for having one tail light out and no light for my plate he went back to his patrol car. 20 minutes later he came back with a ticket for $35. He said he wrote me a ticket for only having one tail light and said he'd let the the plate light go. I asked to go to the rear of my car to witness the bad lights. He said I could not get out of the car. I had gotten out of my car earlier that night and saw no bad lights which is why I asked. Anyway after I pulled away I checked for myself. Both of my tail lights worked and so did my license plate light. I did have one bulb out but they still worked so did all three of my brake lights. This police officer stole money from my kids. When I asked why he lied I was told to leave. Thieves that's what they are. I work hard to support my family and community. How do I teach my children trust the police when they steal from us using bully tactics.

These officers from Indian Head Park and other Police Departments are out there everyday, 24/7 while you and I get to sleep in our beds at 3 in the morning knowing that we are safe.

During the last six-10 months I have had more IHP cops wave, say hi while driving by, and stopping to speak with my kids. A couple of months ago two cops stopped and bought lemonade from my kids stand in the front lawn. The older guy was training a rookie. Said he worked here back in the early 1980's but left to work in a neighboring town. He retired and came back to IHP to work full time again because he liked the town so much. The new guy also seemed enthusiastic about working here also.

I was pulled over on 3/22/2016 by Officer C. Bojobic (Star No. 274) of the Indian Head Park Police due to 'no front license plate'. After explaining to the officer that I had my front bumper recently replaced due to a minor fender bender he writes me up for a ticket for the infraction. I even had the license plate in my trunk to show the officer. Is this the type of work we pay these officers for?
