Went in to purchase a blanket and when the cashier read the barcode on the item, it came up $12.99. She proceeded to tell me that I could not purchase the item at that price and that the price would be $25.99, so I grabbed another blanket and it also came out on their computer register to $12.99. She went to the back and came back with her manager who then told me that the price was $25.99. I told my wife what happened and she went to inquire about the blanket, they told her $34.99. Then they kicked us out of the store and threatened to call the police because I started recording what was happening.

Wowww!!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERRRRRRRRERRR!!! I was treated BEYOND rudely by the lady at the counter. When I asked her name she said “My name is Donna and I am the number 1 sales person here”! She was so condescending and nasty and I cannot BELIEVE that someone would think it’s a good idea to employ someone so rude! I turned around and left the store, after speaking to someone who was supposedly a supervisor ( I don’t think she was, I think she just got a random person) I will be following up on what happened but SHAME ON YOU for treating people this way! Absolutely disgusting!!!

As an indigenous person I was repulsed. There was multiple products that were straight up cultural appropriation. A stuffed bear was wearing inaccurate ceremonial attire. The design is typically used for halloween costumes which is a problem on its own. There was a red skins mascot pin… Non of the profits were going towards indigenous charities. The only thing that was semi indigenous was the pottery and the informational signs just talked about how the pot was made. This is incredibly disappointing and disrespectful.

This is a beautiful store, but I’m surprised they can stay in business because the customer service is so lousy. There should be more than one person on the floor. The lone woman working stayed behind the counter, but much of the merch is locked in displays. After she unlocked a case and showed me a pair of earrings, she scurried back to the counter rather than asking me what else I’d like to see. Sale lost, and I’m sure there were other people shopping who would have purchased things if there was more attention and customer service.

My first experience in Phoenix AZ and the service from the manager was too bad. I made a purchase of several items and it was not possible for the cashier to give me an additional bag. All the items were poorly packed in a small bag that fortunately he gave me. I was at the airport for more than 10 hours waiting for my flight to Florida to leave and apart from that I was super busy trying not to drop the things I bought in this store because there wasn't a bigger bag to pack my order.

I grew up in Phoenix & have always appreciated the art of the native tribes. I now live in Florida & whenever I fly west to see my family, now residing in California, I try to route myself through Phoenix so that I can visit this shop. I seldom emerge empty handing & always leave feeling like I've been home.
