I almost lost my son from their faulty work. I hired them to install a bed, pump, hydraulics, tarp, new control switches and a tailgate. I was told 2-3 weeks. I tipped the lead guy $100 to do a good job. The 4th week they had finally started. I showed appreciation once more as I sent over pizzas for the entire company. After 12 weeks I was told to pick up my truck. When I picked up the truck, I pulled plastic off my seat. I got in, my cloth seats were water logged and now stink. I asked: Why are my seats soaked? They answered: Last night we left your windows open and it poured. I had puddles in my floorboards. The first day we got it back, our certified “CDL” driver was showing how the dump worked. My son (20) was watching, when the rear gate opened, one of the new welds broke. A weld broke and the tailgate fell off sideways missing my son by inches. They denied it was their weld. Later admitted it was. We loaded 1 ton of sand at our shop. Upon dumping there was a loud pop and hydraulic fluid blew all over. We were then told that a hose was bent and and blew the seal on the pump. I said "it's under warranty", They said no problem. They called stating that the pump was burned out, not covered under warranty. They undermined my intelligence to cover their poorly installed system. Blamed revving engine during dumping, leaving PTO engaged while driving, like they were there. We are not idiots. Our driver has 30 years of experience. Ingram would not admit to mistakes and would never adhere to what is right and just throughout this build. Their story kept changing. They used unethical principals to evade negligent loss. What really upsets me they thought I was stupid and they wouldn’t have a problem passing the blame. They said a new pump installed would cost me $550. The bill was $703 for a pump used twice. I can’t do anything but pray that God handles this to benefit all of us. This repair was full of repeated negligence that was costly and could have been deadly. A careless company.
