If you want to feel like a shoplifter without actually stealing anything, Jon’s Past Trading Company is the place to go! The moment I walked in, I had not one, but two people following me around the entire store. It was impossible to browse without feeling watched. Definitely not the most comfortable shopping experience—if you're into a little too much attention, this might be your spot

An employee followed me around the entire store, which is why I decided not to buy anything. There were other people in the store as well, but of course, he followed around the LONE black woman. Never in my life have I experienced something like that and I should not have to in 2023. I will ever shop here and if I were someone else, I would not shop here either. I wish I could give the place zero stars.

I loved everything this store carries but as others have mentioned - annoying staff. My husband liked a shirt and the girl who latched herself on to us said oh that shirt runs small. Very know it all. Well she doesn’t know it all - it ran big. She kept pushing these other shirts on us that were completely irrelevant to what we were interested in ( I told her multiple times we didn’t like a shirt she thought was similar but was not even close to the one he liked). We left. Probably would have dropped a lot of money here (their stuff is cute!!) but that girl was over bearing and annoying!! Are you worried about shop lifters? We didn’t have any bags, I don’t even carry a purse 🤷‍♀️ Do you think this is good service? Give customers room to breathe and shop! Jeez! Went to Hipnautical and shopped there where the staff is laid back and cool!! Guess what! We will be back to buy more from Hipnautical! Won’t step foot back in this store.

We went in looking for Sun glasses and the staff was super helpful. One team member (sorry Idk the name… he mentioned having vision issues and was a younger guy 🤷🏼‍♀️) was super knowledgeable regarding glasses and pretty much everything. Gave us great advice on places to eat and sold me my first pair of Costas. Love them too so thank you!!

One of my favorite stores on John's Pass! The staff is always friendly and super helpful! They have a beautiful selection of clothes and sunglasses. Sean has helped me on more than one occasion find the perfect pair of sunglasses! I'll definitely be back!

Very annoying employee. My husband and kids and I were in here shopping and she followed me around the entire store. I tried having private conversations with my kids when they were upset they couldn’t get a certain toy and she stood over me and joined in on my parenting. I had a couple items in hand that I was thinking about getting and still had to talk to my husband about before getting and she took all the items from me and walked around the store holding my items and wouldn’t let me look through them to make a descion before heading to check out. It was about 20 minutes of us shopping with that employee not letting us have a relaxing shopping experience. I walked out with items I didn’t even know I purchased because she refused to let me see my pile.
