When searching for a local florist in Starke, Florida, I came across Julia's Florist, and I’m so glad I did! We ordered a designer’s choice centerpiece, and the final arrangement exceeded expectations. After delivery, the recipient called to thank me for the beautiful arrangement they received. Julia's Florist made the process easy and helped me take great care of my customer. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for stunning floral designs and excellent service!

I drove almost an hour to pick up a bridal bouquet that I was so excited to use for my bridal portraits.. When I arrived to the shop quite a few flowers were dying already and some were actually broken.. The bouquet was the size of a small bridesmaid bouquet and no where near a bridal bouquet.(first photo)

As an already stressed out bride I was so sad and thankfully I was able to have the bouquet fixed by another florist who came in after hours to help! (second photo)

The only reason I give 3 stars is because of my bridal bouquet. My bridal bouquet was the ONLY essential item I had when I walked through their doors. I didn't know how much I could afford, but I knew that I wanted a fresh bouquet for myself at the very least. I found that I could make it affordable, but the hurdle I didn't consider was 'finding the perfect photo' on an application/program that I never use. I'm not tech savvy. I expressed this. I tried to learn. Pinterest is the heart of their designs and it ended up being an issue for me.

I found photos of bouquets I liked but they would never be perfect. The right style, for the right season for the right price,.... but the wrong color. Or the right color, for the right season, for the right size, ...but the wrong style. You can make boards.... but there's no where to make comments about a specific photo and what you like about it. I kept expressing my struggle communicating effectively through this... and she assured me she was making notes. I even saw her make them. She assured me that she understood and would pass on that the color-matching was my biggest concern on the fresh flowers; I didn't care how cheap they were... just fresh and the correct colors. I asked for 'monochrome wine colors' and again... gave multiple swatches and photos of my wine, dark blush pink, and white dresses/my color theme/pictures of other things I purchased for my wedding, to be sure we had a idea of what the colors were and that the flowers would be close.

On my big day I saw my bouquet and knew exactly what happened. A singular pinterest photo of a bouquet was copied verbatim to make my bridal bouquet. I knew it took hours to make and I was hours away from my big moment so... these were going to be the only flowers. The florist had told me weeks ago that she would outsource my bridal bouquet... and whomever did it likely looked at the photos but ignored the notes I mentioned and copied it exactly.... copied it even down to the wrong colors... making them not match any of the others. It was more brown nude/fleshy toned with soft purples that weren't present in ANY of the other flowers. If it had at least matched the other bouquets, then cool; but I feel like it didnt. I don't really like brown nude colors on a pale white body at the dead end of winter. My dream of fall wine contrast to my pale white skin was gone. And to make things worse... a few roses fell out as soon as I faced my bouquet out for photos. I spent time tucking roses and such back in during photos. None of the other bouquets fell apart. None of the other flowers were wrong. This was the only one. But.... it was MINE. I was the Bride and MY bouquet wasn't perfect.

The lighting in the photos changes how some photos were perceived so sometimes the groups of flowers look more pink or more red.... but despite the different cameras and lighting... my bouquet never seems to fully match any of the other floral things I paid for. I did mention this just once to the florist after my wedding.... but they preferred to speak in person about it. I didn't really see the point in going in to sit down and talk about a past event. My big moment already passed and there was no fixing it now. The wrong colored bouquet is already memorialized in every shot. I had already done everything to make the flowers bare bones prices. I didn't know it but the table flowers I ordered came with vases that were on loan, so I know she made efforts to make my dream of fresh flowers at am affordable price come true.... but my bridal flowers were my ONLY essential. How can I not say ANYTHING? It is what it is.

I needed two gifts for an event and was able to pick up a couple of cute plants quickly. They put bows and flowers to dress them up for me and were just perfect!

I ordered what I thought was a dozen of roses for $120 plus, and a $10 delivery tip, however 9 roses was delivered. Same thing happened to buddy of mine. I'm not sure who or why Julia's Florest thought was exceptable on Valentines Day but it wasn't. Even the advertisement photo had atleast 11 roses. It sounds as though someone at Julia's Florist skimmed on roses to make their profit charge from their delivery contractor. Shame on you for that. Who orders 9 roses. Why advertise products and not deliver what people pay for. I will never buy from your shady business again. Shame on you.
