Eleven day June 2011 vacation package with Princess Cruises; 7 days sailing, 4 days on land. First port of call on the Alaska Inside Passage - Ketchikan. After zipline adventure, walked through the shops in town before sailing to our next stop.

Great store with a lot to chose from. I received a lesson from one of the store associates about many of the legends about the totem poles which was awesome.

Very nice store with a wide assortment of gifts for most anyone! One thing I would really like to note is that after we arrived back home from our cruise, we realized we purchased a jacket in the wrong size! Oops! Called the store and they were very friendly and helpful about getting a new jacket ordered and shipped out to us! Super customer service!

We were on a Cruise to Alaska recently. I love, love, love this store. They have everything that you could possibly need. I found sweat pants here that I could not find anywhere else! The prices are good. The selections are fantastic. the 2 female clerks who waited on me were very nice, friendly and easy smiles on their faces - not forced. I would recommend this store to everybody!

We bought more than $60.00 worth of smoked salmon packets. Brenda, the cashier who rang the till, started to use her hands to convey the total cost, assuming I did not speak English based on the color of my skin. I was at the time speaking with my wife in English. So why did she need to use her hands to convey the total cost? Obviously, stereotyping and racist attitude. Next to me was another elderly lady who was trying to pay by credit card at the adjoining till, and must have inserted to wrong side into the machine. Brenda taps the lady's credit card where the chip is, and says annoyingly "chip, this is the chip". Rude and impatient attitude.

Also they were supposed to give a free gift bag as per the coupon book, but did not. Near the entrance, we remembered that. Went back and a young cashier said "it is normally $10.00. But reluctantly gave us the bag. So not a fair business practice.

And guess what, at Tongass store near there, the salmon packets were $2.00 cheaper!
