AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Like night and day compared to the other local salon. I was assigned to Amy who was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. She made me feel comfortable trying on the dresses and selected additional dresses for me to try on. The aesthetic of the salon was very inviting. As soon as we arrived we were offered both champagne and water. My party was directed to a comfy couch and were taken care of by the other staff. Overall 100% recommend. I found my dream dress and left overjoyed.

Kinsley Bridal in Walnut Creek is a lovely store with a variety of fabulous dresses. However, I was disappointed when visiting with my soon-to-be-bride friend.

We were greeted nicely upon arrival, and Macario took the time at the start by asking my friend questions to understand the style and details of dress she was looking for, no doubt so he could make some relevant recommendations. He also asked my friend’s budget, which was $2500, and then went off to pull some dresses.

After an hour and seven beautiful dresses later, we asked Macario the prices of the two dresses that were the finalists.

We were appalled when he shared they were priced at $4000+ and $10,000+*.
I asked which of the dresses he pulled for us was within the budget, and he said “the second one”… meaning only one of the dresses fell within my friend’s budget. This means we wasted time trying on six dresses that were not an option for her.

*To be fair, my friend did ask to try on the dress that ended up being $10,000+; however, in this scenario, given the budget was specifically discussed ahead of time, it would have been nice for him to disclose proactively that it significantly over her budget.
Then, my friend could at least manage her expectations if she decided to try on the dress.

Kinsley James was the last bridal salon I went to out of 5 and I wish I just went here first to save myself the trouble! Their selection is superior to other bridal salons. Their dresses are beautiful and high-quality. I purchased a dress, matching overskirt, and veil. Jila tailoring studio was recommended by Kinsley James when I purchased my dress and she did an amazing job with the tailoring, bustle, and helping me customize the overskirt. Look no further for your dream wedding dress 🙂

My daughter found her dress at Kinsley today and it was the most amazing experience. Morgan was our stylist and quite literally pulled the dress of her dreams. Everyone in the salon was so kind and the overall vibe was just so fun and exciting. Can’t recommend Morgan, Maxine & Kinsley Couture enough 💞

Wonderful experience!! I always knew I wanted to get my dress at Kinsley (since I discovered it many years ago when I was in high school and have followed them on Insta ever since lol)! I made two trips to the store to try on many many dresses and ultimately I found the ONE! All the girls have been so helpful! Excited for my dress reveal appointment and then to begin alterations with their Galia Lahav alterations specialist. Def worth coming here if you are looking for your dream dress. Such a great selection!!

Kinsley Couture is the absolute best and I am so grateful for everyone who helped me get my dream wedding dress. Sierra was an absolute gem and she and the team made the whole experience so easy. They have such incredible designers and were even able to order a dress from Eva Lendel for me that was pretty much impossible to find elsewhere. I had a very particular aesthetic in mind for my Parisian wedding and Kinsley Couture made it a reality. The Eva Lendel Molly was the only choice, even though they humored me while I tried everything else on, and even though the designer couldn’t send any samples the Kinsley Couture team made it easy enough to order it sight unseen. It was clear they have a great working relationship with the designers. Kinsley Couture also brought in such a wonderful seamstress, Jila Tailoring Studios, who altered the dress perfectly and was such a pleasure to work with. They also have amazing accessories. Instead of a veil I went with the Bromelia pearl headband by Maria Elena and it went so well with the dress. For the rehearsal dinner, I went with the Untamed Petal Clara and it was such a perfect dress for Paris. Reflecting back on the experience, I cannot put into words how grateful I am for the team at Kinsley Couture. Thank you so much!
