A grocery store my family has been coming to for over 20 years, a beloved part of my childhood. Filled with all kinds of Japanese staple foods and delicacies. Some other Asian cooking ingredients and houseware or kitchen goods are also in supply. The owner is friendly, kind, and able to answer all sorts of questions and give suggestions. A great place for buying small portions for students and people living solo, or a place to stock up on goodies you just can’t find otherwise for miles!

I searched the web for a Japanese grocery market in my area and found Kotobuki and was very impressed. The owner (I suspect) helped me find items and recommended some too. Very helpful navigating the products and once I mentioned what recipe I was preparing, she also made suggestions. Great find!

I love this little store. Hey have so many goods packed in here. Usually can find whatever we need. The lady in front has helped us when we didn’t know what ingredient we needed. She has done this a few times. She is so sweet.

Kim-san is super friendly and very helpful. If she notices you are trying to cook something specific, she'll even offer suggestions. I love the selection of drinks and snacks and I try to stock up on the Oi Ocha Green Tea whenever I'm there. The only possible way it coule be better was if they had マルエ製菓 甘酒あめ (Marue Seika Sweet Sake Candy) but I think they are very expensive to import.

This is such a cute little Japanese market. I haven't been to one in the Tampa area so it was much needed to check it out. It is definitely smaller than your average oriental market but it definitely is stocked with many goodies. They have Japanese snacks that aren't available at the bigger oriental markets. There are good dinnerware selection as well. Their snacks and drinks are great as well as the staff/owner. She was very sweet and talked to us. I would encourage others to come here if they're looking for unique snacks!

Great little Asian market in this strip-mall. They've been around for years and they keep stocking different items that are popular. They have a ton of Japanese goods; drinks, sauces, ramen, seasonings, snacks, curries, etc. When you go there, you tend to over buy, at least I do. I wait too long to go shopping there, so when I get there I seem to buy more than I should. It's not a bad thing because I know I'll use/eat it up anyhow. So go give them some biz, the owners are super nice and can get stuff ordered if they don't have what you're looking for.

I ❤️ this market. They have wonderful Japanese and Korean options. Just some of the goodies I found today: include hamachi collar (iykyk), frozen wasabi blossom, matcha ice cream ... There's also a nice selection of frozen sushi options, ramens (including the frozen Sun Noodle packs!), And rice imported from Japan. The owner is super friendly too and can help you find items.
