This store and company is run with a high standard for both gear and it's customer service. Every time I come in they take great care of my needs. The clothes runs small so size up if you're in between sizes.

Nothing against this store itself, but KUIU warranty is terrible. I’ve spent $1000’s on gear. I believe a lot of it is overpriced but certain pieces I have definitely perform well.

But when there is a problem they don’t back it up. Any other premium product line for any other company comes with a great warranty. That’s half the reason you pay a premium price.

I have a jacket and all the seam taping is peeling off. The jacket otherwise is in perfect condition. KUIU refused to replace it, instead directing me to send it at my expense to a repair facility to “fix” the tape. It seems obvious that other sections of tape will continue to lift off once the “repair” is complete. This is a factory flaw and they should ship a new jacket.

Too bad because I like the gear but I’ll have to shop elsewhere.

I had a wonderful shopping experience online and was provided exceptional customer service over the phone from Helena.

First it’s important to note i have been looking for camp for a LONG time. I landed on KUIU after seeing the brand in a small shop while on vacation.

I cross shopped Sitka, First Light, and a few others.

Ultimately I believe KUIU to be true to their mission, thank you Jason Hairston!, A fair value, great quality, and OUTSTANDING customer service.

Disappointed in the fact that my camo pattern colors don't match between my pants and jacket. (Valo). I sent an email to KUIU and their response was they were working on it. They knew they have an issue but that was their only response. I've worn them all from Trebark, Mossy Oak, Real Tree and Sitka. Never have I had a jacket and pants that didn't match perfectly. But now I have purchased the most expensive hunt wear I have ever bought. And they are working on trying to make it better.

The problem with online ordering is the fit. They make it way too difficult to exchange for correct sizing and the time it takes. Going forward, I will never buy from them unless I try it on first. Oh, and their camo of the same pattern doesn’t always match.

Bought the kuiu sumit star 3p tent had it out 2 times and fabric started seperatting. Went through the waranty process and got and email saying it wasnt covered and they said a rodant chewed on it while i was sleeping in the tent !!! so they sent a patch. Called them directly and they still wanted to argue over the phone saying it had chew marks on the fabric. Very disapointing kuiu though you guys took better care of your customers especially ones that have spent thousands of dollars!

Kuiu has some awesome cold weather gear, but you’re going to pay for it…even when it’s on sale. But I don’t think I have any cold weather clothes that keep me as warm but weigh almost nothing. Last summer I bought myself and my dad a kenai jacket and unless the temperature drops below freezing it’s all I need with a tshirt. I also have the peloton jacket for mildly cold weather and I just bought but haven’t received the super down ultra during their founders sale. Always buy when on sale and you won’t be disappointed. You’ll also never be able to go back to your old heavy jackets once you get used to these!
