I really don't shop here , but I like picking up hot food here , it really good I had a burrito custom made ( cuerritos and carnitas) I also got some sopes the sope was hard to bit into, the masa was though and old , but taste was good the burrito was awesome. I will still come back .

This place slaps on all others. I go here for the caldo bones for my pooches sometimes I can get them from the meat counter and sometimes I get them out of the freezer. Also the meat counter has some good stuff in it. I like the chicken legs and fajitas. When those are on sale watch out because I'ma coming in hot.

The workers seem in a bad mood, especially in the food to dine in the section. They give major attitude! Not impressed with their food and their attitude. Don't waste your time here. Los modales de ellos son horrible. Las cajeras son hamables, I Los Dela carniceria son hamigables. Pero las cosineras no tienen modales.

I ordered the Chili Verde plate and it was ok, but I ordered 3 tacos with carne asada on the side and it's been a while since I had them from here but last time I ordered them before ordering them here was at the La Perla Tapatia in Modesto.

Anyways I seem to remember the taco's having poor carne asada that was a little too crispy charred and I also seem to remember them tasting strongly like fish. Carne Asada shouldn't taste like fish and did and does at both location's Turlock and Modesto. When I got the tacos to my recollection, sure enough they tasted and smelled like some really fishy tasting fish. Only the first taco however. The other two didn't seem to taste like fish but I don't know if it was just that my taste buds adapted to the fishy tasting carne asada or what.

Anyways long story short the Chili Verde was just ok but the taco's were terrible I could barely stomach them to finish eating them and probably should have just thrown them out.

Also I would like to add that the Chili Verde I ordered from La Perla Tapatia in Hughson was amazingly good.

I find it kind of odd that the taco's here are so terrible however, very disappointing. Myself being just a little wedito and all I can make taco's 1000 times better myself, could show them a thing or two.

Everything is too expensive there, they over charge people all the time and get mad when customers find out, the manager doesnt have any customer service skills at all. I gave them 2 starts because the meat department guys are very polite and nice

Vegetables were nice and clean. Meat case well stocked. Grocery prices are extremely high - Mexicans ripping off Mexicans... ao sad. The seasoned staff are great. Their cashiers are a bunch of kids, so out of focus - Stop hiring lencho kids.

Every time I'm in Turlock I go by and get some prepared food usually carnitas and whole beans. So Good!!
