I buy meat here regularly and when I want the best. The service is always great and I’ve never had a bad steak. I like the porterhouse the most have had them all, great cuts, reasonable prices and good service. They offer discount cards and assorted meat packs. All of these things are what people are searching for these days.

I’ve read some of the less pleased people’s reviews and do not agree. They seem more like personal problems and not a clear reflection of the service Kenney and his staff offer.
Best meat in Lake County.

Prices are a bit high. I only go there if I can't go to the supermarket. I'd shop there more if the prices were more reasonable. I shop Upperlake market often. Prices are very reasonable. I prefer to shop small town businesses but not at the prices here.

Bad Small Town Attitude. People that run the place are very rude. When asking about services they offer butcher response with yelling "What does it matter!?" No postings of info so you can just see for yourself. You must have someone down talk you in thier dirty little store that needs a good cleaning

Idk who the gentlemen that works there that was very rude to a friend of mine, that I referred to go to lakeview for meat to make jerky, but you were rude, discriminating by saying that the "mexicans buy all this kind of meat" , not helpful at all and I hope you learn to be nice to everyone.

I came in the other day to purchase some beef heart. When I placed my order at the counter with one of the young men, Kenny began his speech with his back to me.
People like me who only buy beef heart and beef bones, Never even bother to look in the meat case and Never buy anything out of it.
How he’s put his heart and soul into it and I can’t even bother to look. 54 years…. On and on. His male staff and the male customers just stared at me. I felt as though I had trespassed into a good old boys club and I definitely was not welcome.
For whatever reason he felt justified in embarrassing and belittling me because I didn’t marvel at the meat case or buy anything from it.
The meat may be award winning somewhere but his egotistical attitude needs work.

As I was driving in to stay at the clear lake worldmark from monterey first time in this area passed by the market decided to stop in the Tri tip that I bought yesterday was so good going back today to get some really good marbled steak and lobster for dinner tonight 5 star meat market for sure
