Love this place! I come to Sonoma every three/ four months, and I always include a stop off at this great store. You should come in just to smell all the wonderful leather! There's every nice thing you can think of made out of leather - bags, belts, coin purses, glasses holders, wallets, bracelets, hats, jackets, etc. (I'm particularly fond of the wonderful belts with top-grade, swap-able buckles.) She imports her own hides-- including exotics such as alligator,snake, cayman, etc. She can make just about anything for you.
*A Sonoma must-visit, right on the beautiful town square.*

I think this store has something more than product. The lady gives her 100% attention to the customer she is talking at first it May look odd but when she talk to you , you may feel importance. She is best in demonstrating the quality of her product she knows very well what quality she has. I think she is best sales person as she has best story behind every product.

I bought a backpack purse here and couldn’t be happier. The owner is a true craftsperson. She replaced a clip for me to make it easier to use due to my arthritis. The backpack is beautiful. This shop is a hidden gem!

Seemed quite friendly with everyone else. maybe she was having a bad day, or i caused offense in some what I’m not aware of, possibly by existing, but I was pointedly, ignored for about half an hour while other customers were in the shop. When everyone else left, there was no attempt at conversation I was simply glared at. Finally when I chose an Item I was told that it wasn’t for sale at which point I left. I’m assuming this had to do with the way I look, as I’m quite heavily tattooed, not really the Sonoma ideal.

Leather enthusiasts, we were excited to drive the distance in appreciation and support of brick and mortar craftspeople.
Maybe she was having one of those days, but unfortunately the owner was suspicious of our friendly attempts at conversation and made an outright accusation that we were on some kind of reconnaissance mission to steal ideas.
A simple Pinterest search yields more inspiration, dear friends. Nothing super original in the tiny shop; simple to gaudy mediocrity- def not why we made the trip.
And anyhow, dismissing potential champions of small biz craftsmanship (I left wishing to see the small work gloves my nephew could treasure) seems a transparently insecure betrayal of one's biases.
Stick to the unfortunate Sonoma stereotypes if you hope to be shown respect here.

I have wallets, business card holders, and purses all handmade by Jessica. Every time I take out my leather goods, people always look and ask "where did you get that?" because you cannot find these in any department store. Clean lines, quality craftsmanship, bright or neutral colors, and there's something in her cozy shop for every budget. A Sonoma County original gem.
