Relaxed, breezy, and unmistakably LA. Laveta’s outdoor seating, tucked under leafy trees, makes it the perfect spot to linger. The food has highs and lows—the breakfast sandwich and breakfast plate were underwhelming, but the ube waffle? A must. Crisp outside, pillowy inside, with fresh berries and lemon curd. The orange aioli chicken rice was a satisfying mix of crispy and savory. The iced ube latte tasted like melted ice cream—gone in minutes, while the iced matcha latte leaned too milky. Service is warm and easygoing. The vibe and drinks carry the experience. Would I return? For that waffle and latte? No question.

My wife loved her Andante cream top requested without maple syrup. It was not too sweet, smooth and the coffee was strong.

I enjoyed my flat white. No choice of espresso but the default tasted good and the steamed milk was satisfying.

Good food and drinks, but make sure you’re very clear when ordering. I’ve had the baristas make my drinks with dairy milk (i’m lactose intolerant) after asking specifically for oat milk. Besides those multiple errors, the drinks are great and so is the breakfast sandwich. Parking is sometimes a hit or miss fyi.

Visiting from out of town - we tried the Chagaccino, Ube latte, and Andante which really hit the spot. The food was good (porridge and prosciutto toast) and quick, considering there is usually quite a line. Service was great!

Parking is hard to find so it's worth sitting and enjoying brunch. Outside seating is standard but imagine on a summer day it would be perfect.

The coffee is REALLY good. The food is a bit better than average but really small portions for the price. Definitely grab coffee here though! Matcha latte was superb. They do have an outside seating are and a restroom outside.

This is my local coffee shop and it is lovely. I have enjoyed all the drinks I’ve ordered and love their prosciutto toast!
The shop is minimalistic with concrete seating inside and outside. Also very few outlets, so it is not the best place to post up on a laptop.
My only con is that they can take a long time to fulfill orders, particularly mobile orders. It’s usually faster to just order inside.

This place is conveniently located w no competition so it gets pretty packed. Cute lil brunch spot. First time I went, I got the chicken & waffles. The chicken was dry tbh, but the waffles were good. This time I got French toast & an açaí bowl. The French toast needed to be cooked a lil longer or something but it was still yummy. Açaí was whatever, I’ve had better. Good ambience tho 🙂
