January 16th, 2025..I would have selected a ten star rating for the Leslie's Pool Supply store located at 2100 Standiford Ave here in Modesto, CA if given the option for such an outstanding rating & review! The General Manager Ms. J.
Carlos is the most knowledgeable and experienced pool representative that I have had the pleasure of doing business with in these past four years. The extremely friendly & professional staff that she manages is a true reflection of how she represents her store. It's well organized, well stocked with supplies and most important of all Ms. J. Carlos and her staff are experienced well informed subject matter experts that go the extra mile to help & assist, troubleshoot and resolve any related pool issues one might have.

It is definitely cool in Leslie's Pools got to come down here and check it out this place is immaculate I got plenty of stock for all your pool needs and I just went in there right now and there's a customer service seemed pretty friendly so check it out get all your pool supplies here right off of Stanford and Prescott

Poor customer service, and bad/rude attitudes. I waited in line for a while then once I got to the front the lady said "oh sorry separate line to get water tested", then I had to wait another long line, once I got to the counter, the manager was only one working counter and tested my water without knowing how many gallons my pool was printed my results and said it was all horrible and needed a new pump, even though I just bought a pump last week from Leslie's pool, so not only did I wait a long time to get service, but she helped everyone else and left waiting again... Will be going to crystal pools instead.

So I went in and had my water tested for the spa I was given for my birthday. I was told how great this place is and how helpful they are. They test your water & help you with chemicals. Well they did test the water and they helped me buy 2 chemicals to start with. Thirty dollars worth I'm on my way home. I get home & do what the gentleman said to do. He said "You need Alkalinity Up in your water, it says you need 4 & here is a bag of 5 so you can just put the whole bag in." So I did put almost the whole bag in as instructed. Problem is it turns out the 4 I needed was ounces and the bag was 5 pounds. So i put 4 pounds of chemicals as instructed into this spa & then people used it & now have a medical issue caused from the chemicals. I will be going back to the store to Express my concerns of giving out the wrong information to people when using chemicals that can harm them. I should have listened to my gut when I thought this seems like a lot of chemicals for this tiny portable spa but they know what they are talking about & I've never owned a pool or spa so I'll listen to the man....never again...
