Lotus sells some beautiful fashion lines in sizes up to medium in a tattered store space with a merchandising mess. The store is packed to the brim with stuff and isn’t shoppable. Their model is one of wardrobing you once you get in the dressing room. My preferred shopping model is to browse, choose, and try on. Browsing will give you a headache at Lotus. Also, I’m a size 12/L size There is nothing for me in Lotus…literally sizes go up to a 10/M. Consequently, I choose other beautifully merchandised and shoppable boutiques downtown. Isabel and Rarebird are both great. Lotus- your model is old school and not relevant in today’s world. Time for an upgrade.

My husband made the mistake of dropping a significant amount on gifts for me here without realizing their "no refund" policy. I returned the items 3 days later in hopes of exchanging, but the store had none of my sizes or the colors I wanted. I was then told "no refunds" but offered a credit under my name. I have no interest in floating a sizable credit with this store for a "maybe" in the future. After searching for exchanges, I finally settled on my fourth choice, so it wasn't exactly a win. This is the only store I have ever seen that carries high end items packed into the racks that are too close together in a tight space, so it looks and feels cluttered. The staff was less than friendly-relationships are the cornerstone of businesses like this, and I would have been OK with the situation had the relationship factor been there. At the end of the day, it is far more expensive to lose a potential loyal customer than it is to refund a purchase that was made in good faith. I can find the same items at a Neiman, Saks, or Bergdorf.

Walked in to a plethora of merchandise, racks randomly squished together without any rhyme or reason!! No merchandising whatsoever! It could have been a thrift store! Dresses for over $600.00 squished and placed on racks without any commonality! No thanks!! For the same price, with sales events, merchandise displayed and RESPECTED, return policy, and a pleasant experience? ……. I’ll go to Saks, thanks!!

The best part of Lotus is the INCREDIBLE staff. Which is really saying a lot because the designer selection and sheer amount of amazing pieces I haven’t seen rivaled anywhere besides New York City. The staff is helpful, attentive and so kind. The clothing is beyond beautiful, selection amazing. Such a fun place to treasure hunt and feel well taken care of. Best store in Florida if not far, far beyond. Thank you Lotus!

Yes great store with a great selection if you are a size xsmall, small or medium. Just so bizarre they don’t carry large. Just large. A pretty normal size especially for women that have large tata’s. Is it that they don’t want women who wear their clothes to be a large? Seriously dumbfounded. Kind of makes me want to boycott them but yet like I said, great store.

I love shopping at Lotus! I have a hard time leaving the store, there is always something else to try on. Just spent an afternoon trying on so many interesting new clothes. The styles are current and timeless at the same time. This is a do not miss stop in Sarasota!

Great service with honest answers! I love the main location for contemporary high fashion and the island for more casual. The new workout store has some of my favorite brands I never see in stores! The girls remember me by name even when I haven't seen them in months!
