My husband and I stopped into Luxe Furniture to look for a master bedroom set and found the store and staff to be excellent on all levels. Their interior design services both in the store and in our home were top-notch. Perhaps the best part of it all is the collaboration with Michelle during each purchasing decision. She took pictures of our rooms, listened with intent to the specs of what we were looking for, and offered an abundance of options. She even came to our home to select wall colors, wallpaper, and accessories to go with the beautiful furniture we purchased. Michelle made it so easy from hello to purchase and delivery.

After purchasing a home, my wife and I stopped in Luxe to see what options they had for furniture. What started out as an afternoon thing to do, turned into a house remodel. We worked with Grace, one of the designers, and couldn’t be more happy. She is absolutely fantastic. She genuinely cares for her clients. Unlike other big furniture stores in the area that we have purchased furniture from before, Luxe works with you to design your dream room. In addition to the personal touch, Luxe does beautiful window coverings. Grace worked with the owner, Michelle and Dan, to make sure ever detail was perfect. The hidden gem on New Haven Avenue

I've been to furniture stores from LA to New York and this is the best one I've ever worked with.

The trick is to work with the staff here and order the furniture that you actually want. They have a decent selection on the floor, but the real power of this place is to help you find exactly what you want and not just the closest thing that happens to be laying around. They seem to have an intuitive feel for the majority of the big furniture manufacturers and frequently recommend different brands based on what type of furniture you want, shipping times, cost etc.

When you do this you get access to a whole world of well made furniture at reasonable cost that you just won't find on the floors of many other places.

STAFF KNOWLEDGE & CUSTOMER SERVICE
This place does away completely with the sadly de-facto furniture store experience of:
Look around at whatever is on the floor.
Get approached by a salesperson evidently doing their best imitation of the concierge from Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Ask salesperson if the surface texture is stained wood or a veneer, and realize they have no idea but made up an answer anyway all while eagerly glancing over your shoulder at the couple that is looking to spend $4,500 on a pleather sofa that will start peeling in less than a year.

I don't believe the staff at Luxe make commissions, and yet they have some of the most knowledgeable people around. They don't use sales tactics or pressure you to buy something and they don't dodge questions.

Do you want one of those executive desks from detective movies in the 1940s?
Do you want matching bedroom furniture in an old cherry style?
Do you want a real leather tufted bar chair that will last for a hundred years?

Well then good luck at the vast majority of furniture stores.
Luxe is the only place I have found that can handle these kinds of requests.

REPAIRS AND HELP
If something does go wrong, the folks at Luxe are fantastic and will almost certainly help you figure it out. After my chair had some issues with the wheels, Dan came out to the house and helped install some new wheels free of charge.

Owners Dan and Michelle along with their design team are simply amazing. It begins by browsing through their amazing showroom of top quality furniture, art and accessories. If you can’t find what your looking for in the showroom don’t fret! Speak with a designer and tell them what you envision or ask for ideas. The designer will even go to your house to help you design a room or your whole house. They’ll place your custom order and have it to you as fast as it’s able to be built/shipped. Worried about the install/setup when it arrives? They have you covered there as well. The owners, with many years of experience, will come and install it all! They take care of you from beginning to end.

When we moved to Florida our old furniture just didn't fit with the climate and home style. My husband and I began a search for new furnishings and it quickly became apparent that we had completely different ideas of what to do. That's when I knew we needed a decorator. I visited Luxe furniture and fell in love with just about everything I saw in the showroom. I was so pleased to find out that they had Interior Decorators on staff to help design our dream and make it a reality. I had never worked with a decorator before and was a little afraid that we might get someone with a haughty attitude who pushed us to buy things that weren't right for us. I was immediately put at ease when we met with Grace Fox. She is a lovely, gentle person with amazing taste! She was invaluable in helping my husband and I make compromises and find common ground. We ended up redoing nearly every room in our home and we couldn't be happier with the result. We have received so many compliments and I always make sure to give credit to Grace for all the hard work she put into our project.

It was so nice to have a one stop shop too! We picked out fabrics at Luxe and Grace measured and designed all the window treatments, had a professional seamstress make them and then had them installed. Couldn't have been easier for us! All of the furniture is top quality and was delivered and set up with the utmost care.
