I stopped by this place on a whim on my way back to Tennessee from Atlanta, but I’m very glad that I did! The shop is very cozy with all sorts of different things to buy. I was surprised to see that the shop had a large variety of spices, teas, and some local food products in addition to all of their soaps, candles, etc. I tried the sugar spice soap and candle, cinnamon whipped honey, vanilla chai tea, and chocolate mint tea the first time I shopped. To my surprise, they threw in a little sample of soap. After making it back home in Tennessee, I ordered another batch of soap / candles, this time the mint, and got another sample when it came in the mail within a week of ordering. LOVE this place!!! Worth the price with such lovely products all around!

It has been a great experience visiting them always. They have a great collection of handmade soaps and other beauty products. I love them as they are a local business and the staff is really friendly. It may seem expensive but it is worth it. The quality of products is exceptional and the natural ingredients do work the way the are described to. They have a wide variety of fragrance in essential oils and the soaps. Must visit when in Avon dale estates ! Highly recommended if you are a fan of bath n body products.

I have visited this lovely store two times. Both times the staff was very cheerful and willing to help. The store itself is adorable and easy to navigate with different sections for essential oils, candles, lotions, sugar scrubs, soaps, cosmetic bags, accessories, and more!!! I just bought my friends some lip balms, lotion, and bath salts and they absolutely love the products. I have not attended one of their soap making classes but I would absolutely love to at some point in the future. Definitely worth it to stop by this little shop. Keep up the good work!

I actually have only visited the Krog Street Market location, but now I see they have permanently closed 😢 I was reminded of it today when I finished off my soap sampler I purchased some time ago, but I genuinely love their soaps and needed to give a review based on their products, not necessarily the location. Their handmade soaps are wonderful. I can't say enough good about them. They sell a big variety, soap for any occasion! Exfoliating, detoxifying, nourishing, sweet smelling, fresh smelling, baby soaps for sensitive little ones, you get it, you'll find one that fits your needs, no matter what they are. I am pretty picky about bar soaps, they tend to dry my skin out and just make my tub all gooey and gross when the bar just disintegrates, but these soaps, they are special. I always feel so good after using one. I loved the lavender and camomile, very relaxing scent and left my skin feeling clean and still moisturized. The location I visited was very neat and tidy and the saleswoman couldn't have possibly been more friendly and knowledgeable. Looks like I will be going to this location from now on!

I had gone to Joann's looking for candle making supplies because I want to get into making candles, and the lady they told me to check out Mama Bath & Body.

I was not disappointed! The store was small, easy to find, and lovely. The smells in it were wonderful!

The two ladies on the store with incredibly helpful, especially as I had a lot of questions regarding making candles. They were also very generous with their time!

I will definitely be supporting this store in the future!

I have not been in the stores-I live in Louisiana - but i ordered some essential oils on-line. They are lovely. So much better than the fake smells coming from the large national chains. And the personal touch makes it even more special. I plan to try many more things and I know i will love them.

Mama makes amazing bar soap and bar shampoo! I’ve loved all of the scents I’ve bought from them so far! They also have a great selection of loose leaf herbs in the store, as well as a lovely assortment of plants and books.

The soaps are great and last a while so, with quality and longevity worth the $. Highly recommended and yesterday i tried the loose tea i just bought a cup of tea they have the awesome cups with a filter so you can drink it with the loose tea in it. It was GREAT! Tea. And i drink tea every day so i know great tea from regular good tea from the bags. But this brings tea to a new level. I got the women's blend. I will be buying more tea asap. Great little hidden gem in avondale estates.
