Friendly staff! I worked with Linda who is very knowledgeable and assisted us with getting our AC Permit Documents submitted. Also spoke to the Mechanical Inspector Richard a few times over the years. I know that he has a tremendous load on his shoulders but he has always taken the time to return my phone calls and answer any questions that I've had. I definitely appreciate working with the City of Margate Building Department.

I have to go into the city all the time to drop off permits. Do your best to avoid the Blonde woman, she's not the nicest, very short and one of those "bare minimums" at her job. She's not going to do much to help you but send you on you way. However, there is a young woman there that I've gotten a couple times and she's an absolute delight! I'm not sure of her name but she's a sweetheart and very helpful in the already aggravating process of filing a permit.

First time here seemed to go ok. The lady handed me someone else's permit lol she seemed too be upset with me. It ended up that she was confused about the paper work. Very slow to review and they must not communicate with each other too well because a were told 2 differant instructions still not sure what's going on but I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Always fail inspections to collect re-inspection fee, they don't tell you why it failed and then they make you search for it. Government jobs are the worst ! Even the office they treat you like crap. Unbelievable if you Guys don't like your job then quit !!!!'

Wet there yesterday and I was treaded well , the roofing permit processor was very nice I hope everything goes as good with the inspector, unlike the Town of Davie inspector that treated my nephew with disrespect, did not wanted to take the paper work and call him the f.* CITY OF MARGATE HAS CLASS..
