I recently visited Martins and had a very unpleasant experience. As soon as my friend and I walked through the door, we were greeted with unfriendly and judgmental looks from the two girls at the front—one a redhead with piercings and the other with glasses and black hair.

Throughout our visit, we received no assistance or support. It felt as though our presence was a bother to them.

To make matters worse, when I was ready to leave, the associate who rang up my clothes did so incorrectly. When I went back to fix the mistake, the redhead and the girl with glasses very rudely told me to go to customer services, as if it were my fault.

Additionally, while we were in the dressing room trying on clothes, four associates approached us rudely and told us to "calm down" when we were simply trying on clothes to better their business. This was incredibly unprofessional and added to the negative experience.

This level of poor customer service is unacceptable and has left me with a very negative impression of Martins. I hope the management addresses these issues to prevent future customers from experiencing the same disrespect.

New to the area and thought I've give this place a try, walked in the doors and 3 associates never even turned their head as they had their conversation amongst themselves, searched through the men's, no one offered help, went to the kids, still no offer to help as they never turned a head. So we needed shoes, let's go to that section, saw one associate helping another gentleman, we waited until they got done, then the associate went in the back and never returned. Wasted 25-30 minutes in the store. We went to the mall and bought everything we needed as we were greeted as we came in the door. A little hello goes a long way in the world of hospitality. Could I have ask, sure. But that's not how a store full of employees standing in general conversation of what they were doing for the weekend would treat a potential customer.

It was ok too crowded to walk through the clothes and the pants didn't ring up by scanning so they couldn't sell them

Nice selection. Fairly clean store. The staff I encountered wasn't worth a flip though. They were clueless about their inventory and were lost when my friend's kid spilled a little bit of her drink on the tile floor. Apparently mopping is above their pay grade. Won't be going back.

My boyfriend and his family bought jeans here for a wedding. The store forgot to remove the anti theft tag. This location is two hours from the wedding. Went to the pell city location they couldn’t remove it. Made us an hour late to the wedding venue.
