This was my first experience with Maverick, Surf Shop and man they got everything and what I really went there for was board repair for on my four epoxy surf boards and all of them got repaired professionally. This will be my go to place.

I came here and rented a board! The woman working was so sweet. I would definitely rent a board from here again, the walk to the beach is only 1 min. Pretty water and sand. The water was pretty still so I mainly just rode out and just chilled on the board. They have all different types and sizes that you can choose from!

This is by far the best and most none judgemental or " clicky" surf shop in TOWN! The owners, Brian and Robby, are wonderful people who are all about great surfing and beach vibes. This shop is always helpful and never snicker or make fun of you be hind your back as you shop and walk around the store! Everyone is super friendly and always willing to help and make sure you're on the proper equipment for riding or surfing the Gulf of Mexico. Waves are paper thin, and Mavericks would rather see you on the proper board than worrying about that price tag and a board that doesn't work for this area. Just all-around great people that own and run Mavericks. They also have great apparel and great boards from their surfboards to the big array of skateboards and paddle boards that they have too. You can also rent big wheeled fat tire bikes and go trail riding right in the National Seashore located outside the Gulf Breeze location of Mavericks. Not everyone can ride in a skate park, but EVERYONE CAN TRAIL RIDE! Between the beach shop and the Gulf Breeze shop, they have everything you need, and they truly sell local art, and the prices on everything are at a great and reasonable price. They are so friendly and always willing to help you out with your board riding needs! ( even pricing, to see you have fun and smile as you walk out the door to your next adventure) Also, there's a food truck hub right next to Mavericks, in case you're hungry! All around and hands down the best and most friendliest Surf Shop in town!

If you are on vacation or just want to learn, I highly recommend taking a surf lesson. Second year in a row for my 9 year old so who says it’s the best part of the vacation! The Instructor, Brian, is super patient and knowledgeable. He’s also the owner so takes a personal interest in making sure it’s a memorable and fun experience!

Brian and his staff are knowledgable and helpful in all things surf related. From new and shiny to used and practical they have it all. I dinged my brand new Sup and they repaired it quickly and flawlessly. I recommend them to anyone looking for stand up paddle gear or surf gear. Plus they have a great selection of Carver Skateboards. Really cool place.

We came to Maverick looking to get my wife a paddle board for her birthday. We just looked around to get an idea ask a few questions. The associate (sorry I forgot your name brother) was extremely knowledgeable. We decided to go check out another place before we made our decision. Long story short, we ended up back at Maverick to make our purchase. The customer service is entirely what won us over. The gentleman overwhelmed us with courtesy when we returned and took amazing care of us. We won't ever need to go to any other surf shop. Maverick is top notch!
