WOW,- where do I start?
I am an 80 year old woman with mobility issues.
Last Sat. I went to Mercantile to shop for clothing.
A lovely woman, i should say I thought was lovely, Marissa, helped my caregiver and me.
The clothing is one size- i was concerned as I am a large woman- I slipped a shirt on while seated in rollater
Thinking there was enough leway that would
Make the top fit.
Bottom line, none of the clothing fit.
Took back all purchases and was told by a different sales person, I had to send an email to owner asking for
Permission to return goods.
I fulfilled the request and I called American Express to tell them about sutuation

Beware of accepting a store credit for a return at this establishment (the only way you can return an item). When the card that is issued to you when you return to the store shows “0” balance you have no recourse. A scam or a bad “system”, I will never shop at this store again

It is a wonderful boutique with a great inventory but the saleswoman, a portly person , told me that a certain type of clothing would be “more forgiving” for me…I am hoping she was temporary

I love this store ❤️. The woman's clothing is so unique you know you won't run into someone wearing the same dress. And the Home Decor is GREAT I want one of everything. The Sales people are so sweet nothing to aggressive just helpful.

Wonderful shop. The linens are beautiful, Italian made garments. Very nice quality. Got a one piece jumpsuit, loved it so much, had to go back and get 2 others. Reasonably priced. You wont be dissapointed.

First time and last time. The sales lady was so rude and unwelcoming when we came in today and a smart comment when walking in. No thanks
