If you’re looking to waste your time and be infuriated this is the place. Trying to pay a day late water bill? That’ll be a extra $30 for some paper pushing and nobody will be there to accept it when you get there. Want to call to inquire about a speeding ticket or event? You’ll never get a answer or will get bounced between people in the office.

Make sure you call if you don’t get a water bill in the mail! They’re so quick to cut your water off when you normally pay up months in advance. Coming from Destin Florida I’m used to the county at least having the decency to knock and let the house know. They don’t do that here, clearly. Welcome to Alabama! Aka Money Hungry Midland City. Where the roads are awful yet the tax rate is through the roof!

Be careful driving through this town. I came to a complete stop at a sign and an officer pulled me over saying I did not stop. I lost a friend that ran a stop sign so I do not even roll through a stop sign now.
