Great stop on the way back to Vegas from LA. Very cool to see real planes that were in use in the past.

Mojave airport has so much history and now is the center for spaceport and Virgin Galactic.
With progress comes expansion. MD Concrete assigned to tear out all the old concrete pads on the northeast section of the airport, those pads have probably been there since WW-2. Future expansion is coming.

When driving the highway we saw this bunch of planes and I thought we could stop over and get some pics.
You can't really get close to it.
And don't think it's a museum. Their website says it is but only as a virtual museum. Not much there either, it's more like a non profit, asking for donations and they do some fundraising events.
The pics here I posted is what you can get up close but that's it. It may not be worth of your time unless time is not a concern.

Great spot for aviation enthusiasts. A lot of industrial enterprises nearby. It would be nice to establish a visitor center.
