I had an unpleasant experience at Monkee's women's boutique in Avalon. Their customer service policies left me extremely dissatisfied. Initially, a salesperson assured me that I could return shoes if my girlfriend didn't like them and exchange them for something else. However, today, I was informed that this wasn't their policy, leaving me with shoes she doesn't like and no alternatives. It would be great if their vendors, like Dolce Vita, reconsidered their partnership. #MonkeesFeedback #CustomerExperience #ShoppingIssues

I have been looking for several dresses for upcoming events. My daughter keeps telling me to go to Monkee’s at the Avalon because when I visit her in Charleston SC I always have luck at their Charleston store. In Charleston, their sales people are helpful and know their merchandise. I have never had a good experience at the Avalon Monkee’s. Every time I go into the store there are very young girls, most likely high school aged, working in the store and they are never helpful. One night this past week, I went in to look for a dress for an upcoming wedding and several dresses for other things I have coming up. I was initially acknowledged when walking in as “welcome in” and that was it. Not once was I asked if they could help me, what was I looking for, etc. I tried on several things and not once did they check on me, ask me if I needed a different size, etc. instead, they were talking with each other and discussing clothes they may get for themselves among the sale items. This was very disappointing. This store is expensive and with that, I expect better customer service and professionalism when shopping. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

went to this location on January 3 2024 had absolutely the worst customer service in my life. My mother and I walked into the store. Never once were we greeted by the two girls saying hey how are you? My name is blank blank. Let me know if you need anything; they sat in front of the register, their feet on the counter, and their phones. I was mortified. If I’m going to spend over $500 in a store I think I would at least like to know the sales associates name or at least a hi, hello welcome and I was absolutely absurd with the customer service. That is something you need to work on before I even think about going back in there and purchasing items no matter how good they look.

Very disappointed. My mother and I were not told at checkout that the $300 bracelet we were buying was final sale (it wasn't a discounted item), and we also had to ask for the receipt. Now we're stuck with a purchase that we're absolutely dissatisfied with.

Teach you’re sales ladies proper manners! I was very interested in purchasing shoes until I was the snotty look the lady gave me. Walked out with dead silence. No goodbye to me though she had a cheerful fair well for a group of ladies before me. I’ve honestly not been treated this way in a long time. Don’t waste money or time here!

Walked in,no greeting. Store associates didn't say a word the entire time I was in the store. I guess being on the phone was way too important. It's appears that people of color aren't welcomed in this shop. First visit and most definitely the last!
