I went this morning for breakfast. My first time there. It was very good. The staff was very friendly. It was very clean. They have high foot traffic in the mornings but don’t let that discourage you! They are very fast and efficient. My new destination for breakfast on my way to work.

First off, I'm down on my time on my 14. I didn't know the area. I saw not one major truck stop for miles. I saw a couple of trucks parked at Mr. Pips and turned in. When I went in to the store and told them I needed a place to park because I was low on my clock they let me park for free. Not to mention the sweet lady Mrs. Rachel and very nice gentleman Mr. Robert were so welcoming. I recommend this place to anyone passing through. They also make and serve fresh food daily!!!

Stopped by for lunch today as my wife and I wanted to try their deli. I got the cheeseburger special with fries and drink. Burger was very good. Tasted like home made. The fries were crinkle cut, not cooked long enough and way over salted. I really hope Mr Pips converts to on site cut potatoes. That would up their rating for sure. Really nice remodel they have done to the building inside and out.

The breakfast is so good. The wrap around ms are delicious - the grits and eggs are great. Lunch is also on point, fried chicken is delicious and pork chops and wings are too. Also the cake is yummm.

In 2016 I found a small black and white dog looking for food at this gas station. I went inside to ask the people if they knew anything about the dog. They said he just hangs out there sometimes looking for food. I had some food in my car that I gave the dog but something spooked him and he ran off. I followed the dog a couple hundred yards to an abandoned house behind the gas station. I knocked on the door of the house next-door and an older gentleman named Cool Lou answered. He told me the dog‘s name was Buddy and he had a family but they got divorced and left Buddy behind. I scooped up that little black and white dog and brought them home and it was the best decision I ever made. Buddy is now part of our family! He loves going on the boat eating sleeping and hanging out with his two sisters. I I will forever be grateful to Mr. Pips gas station.
