The MSA annex is such a cool concept to have a variety of food options available. It's like a mall food court without the food court vibes. This is a great place to hang out and relax with a bunch of friends, with food options to satisfy everyone. Most of the vendors offer vegan options and you can walk around the facility with your drinks

It's a cool place to grab food and drinks. There are plenty of selections to choose from, and it is also pet-friendly! I brought my dog here and grabbed lunch at Kukai. There is street parking, and there are plenty of seating areas.

The MSA Annex has a unique makers-space vibe that offers visitors the chance to support small locally owned businesses with a lot of flair. The shipping-container architecture of each store and café make it an inventive, mazy place to sip a coffee or cocktail and shop for offbeat gifts. I hope the annex expands its reach even further in the years to come (including longer weekend hours and more small pop-up events, such as live music).

So I’ve lived in the downtown Tucson area for a few years now and for the most part it’s been fun with my plenty of things to keep me entertained. I did leave for a year and when I returned I noticed all the construction projects that were underway. It looks like they are trying to improve the city centre and it’s a good thing. One new thing I did come across was the MSA Annex. What a nice discovery! It’s a little bit outside the downtown core but it’s worth visiting. There are some nice stores with great merchandise and a few restaurants which I plan to try for sure. I did have coffee at the Hermosa coffee roasters. Great coffee! This just might be my new hangout. Awesome! ?☺️

Possibly one of the hottest places in Tucson at the moment. You can find trendy shops, cafes, and restaurants all in one place. (Though it may not be so big.)

Visited on Friday and there was a live concert going on. A great place to chill out! (And also it is pet-friendly. There were lots of people with dogs.)

A true gem of modern design, boutiques and food/drinks in a modern container store format. Neat little inner courtyard spaces, and businesses to explore. Definitely a worth of a walk down from Saint Augustine Mercado District.

Still under a bit of construction but the places were built nicely and flowed together well. Many are open only later in the week - Thursday through Sunday. The coffee shop was quite popular with people sitting in the large community area. A few smaller boutique stores as well. Looks like there is room for smaller concerts during the summer. Also convinient with the street car/tram stop at the corner.
