The house was quaint, cozy, and true to its name! The beds were cozy and so comfortable that I could have stayed in bed all day. The location was absolutely perfect. We never had to use the car and we could just walk to all the places that we wanted to go to. The best thing of all was that the hostess was so kind and thoughtful in making sure that we had a good time. We happened to visit during my birthday and the hostess left me a sweet, welcoming card, apple cider, and bottles of olive oil as a gift in the bedroom for when we arrived. You won't get that kind of special treatment at a big fancy hotel! I absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to be back! Mt. Dora is such a sweet little town!

We decided to take a couple of days on a whim, but the Lakeside Inn was fully booked, so we looked around online and found this.

Super cute.
Super close to downtown proper.
And relatively affordable.

Breakfast include a short walk away at "Cody's on 4th",which was nice.

My family had the most wonderful time staying in Miss Elsie's room in Mount Dora. The innkeepers go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable with special treats, notes, and advice to make your time in Mount Dora extra special. They even provided a cot for our child to make it ample size for 3.

The room is a combination of luxuries with historic charm and modern technical conveniences. I especially liked the location - easy to walk to the downtown restaurants and parking was provided behind the hotel. We look forward to staying there again in the future! Thank you so much!

I went with my friend, and we had a great time. |The place is very cozy. Clean. And our host, Rachel was amazing!!!! She sowed us around. Cooked a delicious Christmas dinner for all the guests. |I highly recommend it! |The city is very cute. A lot to see! Hundreds and hundreds of light! |Worth to see it!

The Mount Dora Historic Inn was a wonderful place to stay for our two night stay. It is steps away from the restaurants and shopping. The Inn was still delightfully decorated for the Christmas holiday. It was cozy, the bed comfortable and the room was very clean. Rachel gave us recommendations for dining and sightseeing. We enjoyed our visit to Mount Dora and especially enjoyed our stay at the Mount Dora Historic Inn. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked this B&B rather last minute as part of a mini-getaway within state. The person on the phone was friendly and professional and had us registered in no time. The keyless check-in process was a breeze and very convenient. Our stay was restful and enjoyable, and we appreciated the tasteful and festive Christmas decorations! The restaurant recommendations provided by the host were excellent too - take her word for it!

Very cute B&B. Stayed on bottom floor. Very clean and spacious room, dog friendly and right in the center of beautiful Mt Dora. First floor rooms may be a little more noisy as you can hear the comings and goings of other guests but nothing that is uncomfortable. A fantastic find in a fantastic charming little town.

We picked this guest house at random for an overnight stay. What a great choice! We stayed in the king room upstairs, super comfortable. The whole place was decorated for Christmas, even our room had a lighted tree. It’s a wonderful location, easy walking distance of the town’s shops, bars and restaurants. Free tea and coffee in the foyer, and snacks. Plus free parking. We will certainly stay again.
