This is a cute little local bookshop! We came here while visiting from out of town. The owner was very nice, they had a nice variety of titles from newer to aurltographed and old titles. A large children's area with books & toys. Our only query was that it seemed that everything was the cover price, with not many deals so it can get expensive very fast. Very enjoyable experience, definitely recommend

So many rare gems in this bookshop! It's a book lover's dream. All the topics you can think of, they probably have. So many "used" books were in such a pristine condition too, you would think they were brand new even though they were decades old. Great place to browse and shop!

My new favorite shop in the area! I'm relatively new to DeLand, and wasn't previously aware of this shop before yesterday. As others have mentioned, they have a fantastic collection of antique volumes (with a surprising number inscribed and/or autographed), a great children's section, and a room devoted to Florida authors and topics. Truly a must-visit shop, and one I would highly recommend going out of your way for.

Neat new and used bookstore. They carry Melissa and Doug items and have a great selection of old and not so old books. I got a couple Where's Waldo books. There is a whole room dedicated to Florida. Friendly staff. They sponsor a "where's Waldo" hunt every July throughout the whole town!!

In the heart of Deland beats Deland's heart - The Muse Book Shop. Evoking the old world charm of English booksellers wedged in quaint villages or the Quai des Bouquinistes in Paris; among its tightly stocked shelves, you can escape what you were running from or find what you were looking for. If books were gems, this would be Alibaba's cave. The owner, Janet, is both eminently knowledgeable and exceedingly helpful. If there were ten muses instead of nine, Janet would be the tenth!
