I’m just going to leave this right here. I have tried for the past DECADE to get someone to listen about Baker Park. My mother fell and broke a rib probably close to two decades ago now and they ONLY replaced about a half a dozen squares where she fell. The sidewalks in and around the park are ridiculous. This park is NOT handicapped friendly. Once again, I invite the mayor (who in years past I have tried to call but he doesn’t speak to lowly peons like me) to ride a mobility scooter in and around the park while imagining you have back problems. It’s absolutely ridiculous that there has been so much money invested into the park, like the 10k or so the disc golf cost, yet the lights and sidewalks seem to be a forgotten relic of the past. It’s BEYOND time something was done. Oh, also, the tree near the fun park that has looked ready to fall for months? Hope that doesn’t land on any kids or cars… 🤦🏻‍♀️

We had a Tornado Watch tonight and I noticed one thing...I could barely hear the Tornado Sirens (even standing outside).

For our safety, the sirens should be much louder and way more obvious.

I'm not blaming any one official. I'm just pointing out this extremely urgent issue.

A officer named Lisa came to my house and arrested me without probable cause and said I stole a "phone" after the " detained / arrested me" they jerked my cell phone out of my current girlfriends hands!!! Lisa said she needs it for " evidence" knowing if they had anything on me they would have the evidence! But instead of talking to me she detained me and held me for a hour and a half without probably cause! I feel new castle police department is getting out of Control! After she released me she Continued to harass me explaining she is going to have a warrant out for my arrest and etc! I was polite and very respectful under the circumstances of being detained over people word! They have yet to call me and tell me when I would be able to get my phone back from evidence! I will be going tl the mayors office and potentially suing the state for harrasment or at least the city of new castle
