First time in the area and stopped in to look around. After a few minutes browsing, I realized an employee was going behind me in the booths and making it obvious she was checking her inventory. I was terribly offended, and confused as the place has signs posted all over saying “smile you’re on camera.” I might understand if I had a big purse or suspicious demeanor, but I had on a small crossbody bag, and very light clothing. I love small shops, and I’m all for supporting small businesses, but I will never step foot in that place again. Customers should feel welcome and comfortable, not like they are being followed. If you’re that paranoid, maybe put stuff in glass cases. Tacky.

This place is lovely, I went in for the first time today and had a great experience. The owner is very nice, she greeted me with coffee and we talked for a bit. They have lots of beautiful things, I purchased some teacups and I plan on going back.

On November 3rd I went shopping in the store. And one of the employees thought I was a man. I'm all southern born female. I was so insulted. That from now on I will shop some where else. It hurt my pride. That employee should not have said in a whisper to another employee. I don't know if that was a man or a woman.
