I had an old trailer for my smoker craft. I contacted Old Salt Marine to see if they could fit a new one to an existing vessel. Old Salt Marine indicated that they would look for the best fit to my boat. I purchased an aluminum Continental flat bed trailer. I am trilled about my purchase. This trailer is extremely robust and the lighting is exceptional. This trailer will last a life time. I would Strongly recommend any one who is looking for a new trailer, boat or service to contact Old Salt Marine in Wildwood FL.

Wow. Where do I start this team has been so awesome. I guess the top. Donald!!!! you have been amazing with working with the powers that be to ensure that I was taken care of. I.E. warranty work, Ins. etc. Thanks for fighting for me. Second! Jessica, Jessica, Jessica, you are amazing how you keep me in the loop. receiving your random text and photo updates makes a client relax and sit back knowing you all were moving along. Please continue that communication. I am sure everyone appreciates that. Last but not least the repair man Damian. Hope I did not butcher your name. but the attention you gave me when going over required items needed over the phone. You made me feel really comfortable. especially with you not knowing my personal knowledge of my boat. You were on point with my needs.

Old salt marine in wildwood, Fl sold me a trailer based on the specs they had for a boat I purchased. They knew exactly what type of boat I was buying. They told me they were fitting the trailer for my boat. That trailer fell off my truck and caused a bad accident. In fact, the trailer did not fit my boat and the trailer came off the truck because of the weight issue and placement of the boat on the trailer. The trailer crashed into my truck and caused extensive damage. The trailer had to be re fitted. The total cost was $2,700.00 I have tried for a month to get them to respond and take responsibility for this. They have refused to do anything to address this. The trailer company that had to re fit the trailer told me from the minute he saw it, that it was not the correct trailer. This company is extremely unprofessional and I suggest never doing any business this company at any level. I am having to go to court and have 3 people fly here to be witnesses. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

I would not recommend their service department for nothing, they will lie to you.
They lied to me when I bought the boat and they lied to me when I got it repaired They keep putting other boats in front of you and don't call you back and let you know what's going on.

I ordered my Sea Pro 248 through Old Salt Marine, if you want a no hassle fair price on the best mid tier boat, that looks and behaves like a top tier boat then this is the place to go. I love this boat and the Sea Pro brand. I was able to order my boat exactly how I wanted right from the factory! I’m a meticulous captain and any issues I’ve had with my boat over the last three years has been handled by Old Salt and Sea Pro, and I still have 2 years left on the boat warranty and 3 years left on the engine. I’ve had all my services done with Old Salt, all my warranty work and new electronics/toys installed by Old Salt mechanics. The service manager Jackie is organized and makes sure everything is in order prior to me even dropping the boat; which really helps because I drive 2.5 hours one way to have them service my boat. The mechanics always answer my questions (even if I interrupt their lunch). These folks work hard and I appreciate their patience and the work they do.

I do not recommend this company, especially if you need a job done quick.We dropped a boat off to have them put a new motor on it on March 8th, and it wasn’t ready for pickup until April 12th. After it being there for two weeks we asked if they had gotten any progress, they lied and said the motor was on but when we drove by it was clearly not on.When we got to finally pick it up we realized they had added a new(used) part, without telling us before hand. Once we asked about it they said “oh I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that” and then told us it was over $500. Most definitely would not recommend.

Long story short, had an accident on the way to Lake Harris in Lake County, Florida. Trailer appeared to be totaled and minor damage to the boat. Accident was not my fault; lady ran a stop sign in Polk City and ended our day on the water. The problem with accidents is the inconvenience....the good news....no one was injured. Since I live a few minutes from Old Salt Marine in Lakeland, I gave them a call. I have purchased oil and parts from Old Salt, Lakeland and have had service done on boats but had never called about trailer or boat repair. Cheryl was very helpful and put me in touch with Donald the owner. I explained to Donald the damage to the trailer, and he met my wife and I where we store the boat. He was VERY through with his evaluation of the boat and trailer. Expressed concern that the trailer may be totaled and what would be needed to repair the boat. As it turned out, the trailer was totaled by the insurance company and Old Salt worked to put us in a new Continental Trailer which actually fits our boat better than the trailer we had. Donald brought the trailer from Wildwood to Lakeland; we moved our boat from our damaged trailer to the new one and Donald took our boat to Wildwood to more thoroughly access the damage to the boat. Boat repairs were completed on time and the estimates provided were what was paid. I mention this because our boat is a 2001 Pursuit 2470WA, and not easy to find the parts and stripping for the boat but Old Salt took care of it!! VERY HAPPY with the experience at Old Salt. I would certainly recommend their service and expertise on trailer selection and boat repairs.
