I had a terrible experience at this consignment store. I brought in a selection of clean, well-maintained clothes—some even brand new with tags—only to have the employee dismiss them, claiming they “stunk.” I personally checked, and there was absolutely no odor. It felt like they just couldn’t be bothered, especially since it was the end of the night.

Beyond that, their pricing is absurd. They offer sellers pennies for high-quality items, only to turn around and sell them for triple the price. The lack of consistency and customer service is disappointing. If you’re looking to consign, take your business elsewhere—you’ll get a fairer deal and won’t be treated like an inconvenience.

I had a nice eBay store selling gently used athletic shoes until Paypal left taking 95% of my sales away. I had tons of shoes left over so a friend suggested I take them here which I did. They bought 59 pair of shoes and offered me $95.00, I took it because honestly they had been sitting around for months. The next week I was bringing another container of shoes to sell but this time I went in empty handed because I wanted to see what they were selling my shoes for they had previously bought. SHOCKED! Jordan's I had sold to them for $3.00 were priced for $25.99. I thought of many parents struggling and was thinking $10 bucks for a almost new pair of Jordan's would be helpful especially in today's economy but NO, greedy people still exist. Honestly they don't deserve 1 star but unfortunately you have to give them something or you can't leave anything. Shame on you for taking advantage of those struggling especially those single moms counting pennies! I still have containers of shoes and I will watch dust collect on them before I'd ever sell to these people again.

My daughter-in-law told me I need to go here due to my 11 month old grandchild seems to grow daily as all children do. What a wonderful surprise very polite, organized well priced can't wait to go back again. I also had been saving all his outgrown clothes for her to take in she can have a start credit to buy this little one more clothing. I have not been unhappy at all. Negative reviews seem to be from people expecting more money and to me you can at a garage sale. They cant stay in business paying top dollar. Again love shopping there and would highly recommend them. Went back everyone was friendly had masks on and very well-organized would definitely recommend

Very nice staff, and pretty well organized considering the quantity of inventory, especially in such a small store.
It's a shame so many people don't understand the buying process - they can't take everything, and even if they do, no you aren't going to become a millionaire, it's percentage based. If they paid you handsomely for your items, them the inventory would be too expensive for customers to purchase, duh.
Anyway, I just had to add that because this store only has poor reviews based off of ignorance on reviewers part.

Staff was very unwelcoming. Many shoes in the bins were quite dirty and a lot of the clothes on the floor were not the best quality for the prices being asked. Kid to Kid in Jacksonville is hands down better than this location. Will not be returning.

I have been coming here for years now… traveling more than 50miles just to sell and buy clothes of my daughter and son!
The customer service “sucks”, I don’t know if because the son of the owner is not around. He is practically nice and friendly but this time he wasn’t there and I even asked the girls behind the counter if they are under new management. The ladies are unfriendly and rude… not as only as customer but also being older to them. Being an Asian, you must always be polite to the elders.
They have this certain rules now that the bin shouldn’t be higher than the bin and only one bin at the time per person. Before, I could bring 4 bins not until now. So I could only choose if I want to sell my daughter or son’s clothing which doesn’t make sense because it’s a different gender and age clothing.
I wish they have issued a memo on their social media website regarding the changes.
Their “BUSINESS MODEL” is “BROKEN”!
And the buying of the branded one time use clothing is so low. Never again!

Just left this location, by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. 4 staff members basically ignoring me and my husband while waiting to check out and all bitching about another employee stealing stuff from each other. Finally one of the employees acknowledged we were waiting to check out and my husband asked if they happen to have a pack and play not out yet but for sale, she completely ignored him and asked for the money we owed. I’ll never go back to this location.

Biggest joke selling here, only good when they are having sales. They sell scraped up, Rubber worn down boots for 9 dollars from Old Navy, but I can buy the exact same one at old navy (not clearance) For $1.60 more. brought in newish toys 3-12 months And two pairs of shoes never worn and they were offering less than a dollar for each shoes, and no on the toys. Same as clothing and just go to target and buy a pack of leggings for your little one instead of Spending 4.50 on one worn down pair. Half their stuff is outdated or stained, But skip on items that are barely used. I even brought in a brand new diaper bag with original tags before and they won’t buy it because it’s not in style ( pink floral print) Their employees look like they’re high out of their minds and can’t function a simple checkout. I saw them to Pass on a baby bouncer in amazing condition, would’ve taken it myself if my lo wasn’t to old for it.
