Sold 20 brand new, sealed packages, desired items (LEGO sets, manga tiles, lakeshore learning sets) and was offered $68. That means they gave me $3-5 for each brand new item that originally costs ($20-$80) I honestly was so shocked and embarrassed I just took it and left, but I can assure you I’ll never return & I’ll be sure to tell everyone the one in Stuart is definitely way better and worth the drive. I have such bad sellers remorse that I’ve literally cried over it, but there’s nothing I can do, other than let everyone know this specific once upon a child is a rip off. I’ve spoken to several people about this since it’s all happened, and all agree there should have been at least $100 if not more for these items. I see they say they use a computer to gauge prices, but I have personally sold in Stuart and they’re system is way better. I think this store lies and uses the owners discretion to price things, because if you compare this stores items to stuarts, the price mark up is astronomical. I give it a year before the owner runs this establishment into the ground, if they haven’t already. If they’re having to take advantage of parents like this, it’s a sure sign they’re not doing so hot. & based on their other reviews it looks like they’re taking advantage of everyone. Good god, if you wanted to be a money hungry businessman you probably shouldn’t have gotten into the business of children’s consignment. You think when you have to meet your maker he’s just going to overlook the fact that you take advantage of poor people. Sick lol.

So I brought in clothes here and I have to say was very disappointed with what they didn’t take. First of all, the sizes I had were 11/12 and 13/14. Which they DO NOT have a lot of inventory for in the first place. I brought in NAME BRAND clothing. Hurley, Levi’s, Under Armor, Champion, NIKE, etc. They took none of it. My son barely wore any of the clothes because he grew out of them very quickly. We’re talking 6 months time tops. So no stains, no tears, freshly washed and folded. Especially the Levi’s since we live in Florida and jeans and pants are only worn about 3-4 months out of the year. Do not bring your clothes here if you’re trying to sell them. List them online or just donate them. Not worth your time. I will give them a positive note that there was a good selection of items in other sizes, toys and baby equipment. The staff were very nice and professional.

We love, love, love them!
The staff is so nice, and the managers are the best!
We have one-year-old twins and buy clothes for them from this store all the time.
As a parent, you probably know how quickly kids' clothing needs change, so why bother buying expensive clothes when you can get them here—affordable and in great shape?

Came all the way to Vero to donate a bassinet I've had stashed for months, just for them to give me attitude and tell me it had to be assembled, I told them i didn't have a drill or screw driver to assemble it and they handed it to me and told me they couldn't accept half of it cause it was slightly dirty (from transit).
Every time I've gone in there I've been given attitude, a stink eye, and they talk so badly about people who are selling them stuff. Take the time to go to Stuart, they're so nice and friendly, even greeting at the door, which you will never see at this store.
Please fix your staff's attitudes, the two older ladies need an attitude adjustment and fast.

I’ve been to this once upon a child twice and each time I’ve always felt extremely unwelcome. I’ve worked in customer service for years (blah blah blah I know) but I just also feel like every customer walking into your store should feel the exact same way. And I also am not completely sure but I do feel like both times I went in it was a woman with a long Jean skirt. I walk in and nothing no hello hi go to hell nothing buttttt….. let someone walk in with a lighter complexion 🤨 walk in and she spoke up every time. VERY vocal. HELLO WELCOME TO ONCE UPON A CHILD! Very welcoming. The last time I was there I was literally in the front with my daughter because she’s autistic and still doesn’t understand no so I stay close to keep contact with her and watched her greet others so mentioned to my husband how I felt that was rude. I shouldn’t have to walk in as a customer and greet the staff with a hello and be completely ignored. Like I walked in they said nothing at all, I said ā€œhelloā€ and maybe good morning and silence. It was so awkward. If me being black and my daughter and husband being Puerto Rican is going to make staff at an establishment be rude to us just slap a ā€œwhites only signā€ on the door and I can just go to the Stuart location. I will not be back.
