Prices aren't posted, so I asked what the prices are. Be aware, that you will be told a certain price and then charged more at the register if the item is "new." For example, I asked how much puzzles were, and was told $1. When I got to the register, I was told I would be charged $2 for each puzzle because they were sealed. Same thing with shirts. $2 each, but when I get to the register, I was charged $3 because the shirt still had tags on it. Was told all mugs are .50. Got to the register with 6 matching mugs. Four were still in the boxes, so I was told those would be $1 each instead of .50. They were exactly the same as the two mugs that weren't in boxes.

I would also like to note that you do not receive a receipt at checkout and you are not told you are being charged more unless you specifically ask what the price of an item is (which I did after the total added up higher than it was supposed to).

It's not the amount of money, it's just basically being lied to. If you ask how much an item costs, you should be told $1 for puzzles unless they are new, then it's $2. Seems like just tricking people and being deceptive.

While it is a store's right to charge what they want, being told one price while shopping, and then charged another at the register is deceptive.

We donated kitchen appliances,a new washer, several boxes of household items and furniture. These items were very nice. They never even said thank you. Only acted like what they didn't take was beneath them. I would never donate to them again.

Who ever answers the phone here and takes messages should be fired. Three times within the last year I have called here to have some good furniture picked that I was donating. And every time I call it’s the same thing we’ll call you back I’m 20 minutes. That place can’t be that busy like Chic-fil-a that they can’t at least call back to set up a pick up date.

Everytime I go there, I find my items. Helpful friendly people. I brought small couch, 3 lamps, dresser, chest, pair of glass end tables. And a black chair. A small turntable. Camera bag. Have to look and search, lots to look at. I always go back just to see what they have.

Great prices and lots of items to be found. The guys in charge of the back are awesome and helpful. However the girl in charge of clothing and the cash register, doesn’t post prices of shoes, bags and such; pricing items according to appearance of clients… I still highly recommend the place!

Great deals on everything! Items are priced to sell and lots of small treasures can be found. Great deals on children and stuff for baby. If you are struggling to afford nice things in your home, drop in. Many new items are donated daily.

New Management has ruined my favorite thrift store....

For as far back as I can remember into my childhood I have been a regular patron of this establishment. My grandparents would take me there when I was little, and my dad would always go to junk shop. They have always been good for a cheap bicycle, furniture, clothes, and any odds and ends you may need. Unfortunately, it appears those days are gone.

I have been in a few times in the past couple months, and left quite disheartened. The first account of which I went in looking for a couch and could not find one for under $75.(notably the cheapest one was rather shabby looking and stained)
On another trip I went in looking for a beach cruiser frame and the lady simply whipped out her phone, got on Google and proceeded to tell me $55 for an old, used, rusty, DONATED bicycle!!!
Now, this wouldn't burn me so much if I didn't know for a FACT that all items for sale have been DONATED, and that the staff is composed primarily of VOLUNTEERS gaining community service hours!!!!

Not that I'm a religious man, either way; so much for being a CHRISTIAN organization...

Now I can understand compensating for inflation, however; I believe this business will go under or trade hands again if the current business model doesn't change... It is and has always been a little junk shop on the side of the road and they could actually turn more profit by charging more reasonable prices for NO COST TO THEM DONATED ITEMS!
(ae: like $25 for a bicycle and $50.00 for a couch)
