I am compelled to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the treatment I received as a customer of Paloma Dresses, particularly regarding a purchase I made for my granddaughter's Sweet Sixteen celebration. This review seeks to outline my experience factually and without hyperbole, in the hope that others may be informed about the practices of this establishment.
In early June 2024, I ordered a gown for $2,000, making timely payments over several months. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen family health issues, we were forced to cancel the planned event. Upon contacting Paloma Dresses to request assistance in reselling the dress or exploring alternative solutions, my request was met with an outright refusal. The representative stated, “No, we can’t help you at all, and leaving your dress here will take up too much space.”
Subsequently, I inquired about extending the payment schedule due to our family circumstances. This request was also denied. Nevertheless, I continued to fulfill my financial obligations, making the final payment as scheduled.
When I arrived at the store to collect the gown, I asked if the dress could be displayed on a mannequin to facilitate its resale, given that it would no longer be used. The salesperson refused, stating she was busy, despite appearing unoccupied at the time. When I offered to assist, she sought approval from the owner but returned with another refusal.
Further attempts to discuss this issue were met with unprofessional and discourteous behavior. Another salesperson interjected, yelling, “It can’t be done and it can’t be done.” This hostility escalated to the point where my companion, understandably frustrated, expressed his displeasure in strong language.
To compound matters, upon leaving the store, I realized I had not been provided a receipt for the final payment. When I returned to request one, I was told dismissively, “We don’t give receipts. Don’t you have your receipt?” After explaining that the original receipt was not immediately accessible, I was told to retrieve it myself. Ultimately, I requested and photographed the store's copy of the receipt as proof of purchase.
The evening following this encounter, I shared my experience with my family, who chose to leave online reviews detailing their own perceptions of this ordeal. The following day, I received a phone call—presumably from the owner—who accused me of tarnishing the business’s reputation and yelled at me to the extent that I was forced to terminate the call for the sake of my health.
While I understand that businesses operate under policies and constraints, the complete lack of empathy, respect, and professionalism displayed throughout this process is unacceptable. The experience was made even more distressing by the confrontational tone and disregard for basic customer service standards.
I caution prospective customers to carefully consider their choice of vendor and to review other feedback available online, which similarly reflects subpar service and treatment. What should have been a joyful occasion was marred not only by our personal family challenges but also by the unkindness and inflexibility of the staff at Paloma Dresses.

Had such a good experience here!!! Love love all the dresses, the perfect place to go to when you’re looking for a prom dress or authentic Quinceañera dresses!!! If I could give them negative stars I would!!! The worst customer service. My lady had a dress made there for her granddaughers sweet sixteen and she spent $2000 to have it made. Stay away from this business they are soooo rude and not good to customers they are the worst!!!!order your dress else where they steal.from customers

My family came here to get my little sister her dress and we had an amazing experience! They were so patience with us my sister was very indecisive. She couldn’t decide which dress she wanted the staff was very patient with her. We finally picked the perfect dress and they made sure the dress was ready with her liking, I love how they always keep up with trends and always have the newest dress in. Best place to come for any dresd! I’m definitely coming back.

This place here I don’t even know where to start but definitely more than a 5 ⭐️ review. We had a horrible experience with A&y boutique in Tampa fl and ended up having no dress thanks to their lies am scamming.left with last minute options we would have to travel to Texas or cali an something told me to take that 4 hour drive to @paloma it’s all about the dress!!! When I say stunning and amazing customer service I mean it. We walked it an because of our bad experience else where we came in straight forward an asked is this a reseller or can a new dress be ordered an be here on time the spoke with nothing but honesty. Showed us options allowed my daughter to try on multiple dresses until she was able to find one an if not they would order one get it custom we ended up getting her Quinceanera dress ten times better looking than the one she was going to go with in Tampa. Not only did they find her a dress they were able to place an order to get a matching dress for her younger sister. They also gifted her with a head piece at no cost 💖the showed us places to go for shoes food and all .I highly recommend this place
