I had my wedding dress altered here and Lillian and her seamstress were incredibly helpful. She accommodated all of my requests and gave me useful advice. I’m very happy with how my dress turned out. The store also has unique and beautiful antiques, clothing and jewelry that you won’t be able to find anywhere else in Sarasota. I highly recommend Parker Robinson for anyone looking for alterations or unique clothing and accessories

Parker Robinson is an amazing place filled with different brands all over europe ranging from beautiful jewelry to gorgeous dresses and amazing perfume and the owners are very welcoming you'll find some exclusive european brands.

You'll find some amazing stuff that you won't find anywhere else.

Beautiful Store ,Wonderful owners! Cans say enough about them. The man in the back of the store I met named Erik Kent is so nice and courteous! I could have talked to him forever he was so knowledgeable and helpful. His Wife also really knows her business and is a real asset to the Main street of Sarasota! Today was our second visit to this store on our vacation in Sarasota. My husband and I were really interested in a beautiful vase that was on display. We were told by the gentleman working in the store that he would sell the vase without the arrangement which we were agreeable to as we did not have a need for the large artificial display. However before we committed to the purchase we asked if we could see the vase without the arrangement to fully exam it before spending $895. We were serious buyers and thought our request was reasonable however the female staff (or owner?) adamantly refused to remove the flowers. At first we thought her response was said in jest, however quickly realized she was serious. We were stunned by her rude response and decided to leave the store without further pursuing the purchase. Although we loved the vase very much we were appalled by the lack of customer courtesy demonstrated by who we assumed was the owner. Clearly they do not need or want our business and we will not be back in this store when visiting Sarasota in the future.

I was in this store recently at first the store was very welcoming and inviting and greeted by multiple people . However I was in the back of the store looking at a dress and the gentlemen walked up to me and said “ that’s the sales rack “ all the sizes are 34-36 you would be a 40 all the fat sizes are out of stock . Mind you I just got done purchasing well over a couple hundreds of dollars on jewelry and the last thing I want to be is critiqued about my body from someone else . Totally uncalled for unprofessional , I left completely upset and I will not return due to that comment that was made

I purchased a pair of leggings for a friend on July 24th which ultimately did not fit so I returned them August 27th as I live 30 miles away. The owner first looked at the crock area to my amusement, then proceeded to check the rest of the garment. He then looked at the receipt for the purchase date... everything checked out fine and gave me a refund on my debit card...I have the ref #
Apparently when his wife arrived, she had a problem with him refunding $267.50 because when I called the store this morning, he stated his wife found a couple spots and that it was six weeks since purchase date...both of those statements are incorrect as he checked both the item AND receipt date.. now they have my money AND merchandise, so I'm having to place a claim with my bank and wait 10 days for my refund!!! Buyers beware...
