We have been driving past this Shell gas station for years. A friend told us that they have good Mexican food. We have now been there a few times. It’s one of those hidden gems. There are a few picnic tables outside. As a bonus there gas prices have been the lowest in that area. The gas is 10 to 50 cents a gallon cheaper than other gas stations. I’ve never had to wait for a pump to open up.

There is a good selection of Mexican and non Mexican groceries. We have done takeout. We get the tacos which they make for you. You see all of the items and tell them what you want on it. Our tacos had chicken, onion, cilantro, tomato and cheese on corn tortillas. We also had two burritos and an order of rice and beans.

Peanuts Country Store will be a regular place for us to pick up good Mexican Take Out.

Shell gas station and convenience store serving Mexican food. There are a tremendous amount of nurseries and landscape companies with a huge Hispanic staff.

Peanuts is the best and authentic Mexican food!! It is really really affordable and a must!! the food is sooooo good everytime my husband and i pass atlantic ave we make a point to go pick up some food..the Gorditas are amazing and the tostadas!! Its not a suit down restaurant but it's so worth the time to take to go by its well worth your time!! The people are so friendly too!! I love this place so take the time to stop in..you will not be disappointed..many other options of food..like fresh made tacos burritos!! I can't say enough..so if you live Mexican and a great price you dont want to miss this place

I just went there to get breakfast and they told me the taco shell wasn't ready yet which i understand because they just opened. I said ok, can i just have the eggs and ham in a container to eat? They said no they can't do that. The eggs and ham were finished but they couldn't give me any. That it's the stupidest thing i ever heard. I will never go there again and they should of made me happy by selling me something to eat. Thanks for your poor service. You just lost a customer.

Love this place. Food and staff is awesome . Better than the average gas station/convenience store. Have to mention the food again because it’s not typical gas station food. It’s really good, a gem.

Do NOT get gas here!! I purchased a full tank of regular gas on 12/27/2014. I just paid Nissan $260.00 to remove the bad gas from my 2014 Nissan Sentra. It kept stalling within minutes from getting gas. I should be currently on my 9 hour car ride home but instead I am sitting at the dealership typing this review. One last thing, I also called the gas station twice and no answer. Left a message so we will see what happens.
