I will start by saying that I very rarely write reviews, but my amazing experience at Penske Toyota has made me change for this one review and it is well-deserved!! I brought my wife’s car in for service as I heard a noise that I was thinking was the power steering. From the second I walked in to Penske, I was greeted with complete professionalism and honesty as well as throughout the entire process. They listened to me describe the issue and after inspecting my car, they described everything that I mentioned, and were very thorough on what was needed to resolve. They did not try to oversell me by telling me I needed everything under the sun to fix my car whether it was needed or not, and I appreciated that. Long story short, they have earned my business and I am a service and sales customer at Penske for life!!

Penske Toyota is more than one hour away from me, and yet I’ve been their customer since 2016. First, I bought a car there, then I leased another one. Linh is the best sales rep! Professional, always available, always replying to questions and concerns. Despite me not liking the long drive to Penske Downey I always do the maintenance of my cars there. Every person at Service desk I have dealt with has always been professional, kind, and helpful. It’s a high quality of Penske services which keeps me as their client.
You can buy body parts there too as well as new cars and used cars, of course. They send coupons to save money with service which is very nice. Oh, and they give complimentary car wash with service too. I’m not gonna lie, I love Penske Toyota!

I found the exact same vehicle at another dealer, but bought it here instead. The other dealer was hard sell all the way and installed $3,000 of unwanted add-ons. From the sales department all the way through to finance, it was quick, easy and no hassle. I would highly recommend Downey Toyota. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars was the extra set of keys wasn’t available when they said they would be so and they wouldn’t accept electronic payment from my credit union, so I had to get them a paper check.

We had a great experience. We were not pressured, which was a relief. We got the car we wanted for a reasonable price, though I would have preferred a deeper "Black Friday" discount. Emilio, in sales, was very pleasant and Vu Trang, Finance Manager, explained everything very well.
I recommend this dealership.
