had a really disappointing experience at Publix today. I ordered a sub online and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I showed up 45 minutes later, and my order hadn’t even been started. I had to wait in line all over again, and ended up standing around for another 15 minutes—even though there was only one customer in front of me.

I understand the person helping her seemed new, and I’m patient with that. But other staff were walking around without offering any help or acknowledging the growing line. The lack of communication and support was frustrating. I usually enjoy Publix, but this was terrible service. I won’t be recommending this location.

The only reason this store gets any stars is because I ate the wrap that I paid for, but it wasn’t exactly what I ordered. I ordered a chicken tender wrap with barbecue and ranch and asked for them to be easy on the toppings. It tasted like they forgot the sauce altogether. They also gave me pickles instead of jalapeños. I would rather wait longer for something to be right than to have it ready and not correct. I was disappointed when I came home, especially because their prices went up recently.

I stopped by to grab a chicken tenders Quick Bite and I'm happy I did. I usually drive past this location because I don't like to u-turn.

The store was pretty much clean and organized as with other Publix locations and there was plenty of employees stocking the shelves. The mens restroom wasn't clean and it smelled like old urine. (Probably because they don't have auto flush toilets and the people that never wash their hands didn't want to touch the handle) It's always nice to have paper towels to dry your hands after washing them and one of the dispensers was empty.
It would've been nice to see self checkout registers because I purchased one item and the transaction probably would've been faster and I didn't need a bagger.

This is the first time a visited a Publix that the entrance blocked off and everyone had to use the exit doors to come and go.

The chicken tenders and mac and cheese I ate was great.

The lady in the floral department does not speak English had to go find an employee that spoke English to help me in the floral department something lady said no to they had she just did not understand English how are there so many people working that can't even help the customers due to language. I would not have a issue if they can properly communicate 😉

20 plus minutes for popcorn chicken. IDK if there was a deli supervisor present but literally no one gave a shit. Stood for 5 mins waiting for someone to walk over. I finally speak up and get the generic "someone will be right with you" only to wait a few more mins. Let me check on the popcorn chicken. He disappears for 5 minutes. Tells me 5 more minutes before it's ready. 10 minutes goes by. Complete disaster one of the worst Publix I've been to.

Publix has gotten out of control with their prices. I have shopped at the Village Commons location since their original opening and now can only afford their BOGO items. Reluctantly I now do most of my shopping at Walmart, except for meats.

Deli sandwiches are great. Haven't had one better since leaving NY. The roasted chicken is also excellent!
